Change username.
Not to gain an advantage in the game but to choose a name that I identify with.

Since PokerStars rules about changing your name are strict, this was the only way I could find to do it.

As several have said, the best advice is to just accept, that you closed your account and then play somewhere else. But if for some reason I found myself in a situation, where I could not play on whatever site, and this was very important to me, I might ask someone close to me, who dont play poker, to open an account and let me play from it.

This is obviously a violation of the TOS, but unless you are a high stakes player, there is probably not that much scrutiny, and the risk of detection might be fairly low. Of course deposits and withdrawals will need to be done by the owner of the account, and its probably also best to not use the same IP adress, you played from before. So if I wanted to do this, I would change my internet provider first. And then also let my "helper" sign up and deposit or withdraw while using my internet.

But again... you created this situation yourself by closing your account, and its somewhat difficult to understand, why its now that important for you to play on PokerStars again? As you even say yourself, there are other sites out there, and PokerStars is not even the largest any more. So if you want to still play MTTs, then why not play them on for instance GG Poker instead?

I have a feeling that companies offering services to Brazilian customers still possibly apply Brazilian laws fully. Seems there is tons of grey and pending in the Brazilian regulations at least based on my 10 minute research... it's legal to play poker for real money it's just not regulated by authorities (yet) so they may respect LGPD rules pre-emptively or they may not based on their own choice.

I think it is worth it to try. Legal methods are always better than illegal methods even if they may be irrelevant. You lose nothing by trying legal methods but you may lose a lot trying illegal methods.

I would only follow legal methods and if they don't work then only other option is to wait till the regulations change which seems very possible

PokerStars has many ways to find your other account. Starting with your IP address, ending with your personal data and data from your bank statements or other payment systems. I do not recommend you to create another account because it will definitely lead to problems. There will come a time when you want to withdraw your funds and then you will simply be disappointed.
