When a Pokerstars account is closed, is it possible to create another one?

After closing an account permanently.

Can I create another PokerStars account?

Or can they track and cross-reference the data to find out that I created a new account after deleting the old one?

Is there a way to do this without them finding out?

The reason for exclusion is simple.

Change username.
Not to gain an advantage in the game but to choose a name that I identify with.

Since PokerStars rules about changing your name are strict, this was the only way I could find to do it.

I hope this is possible.

Dude....., they have your name, your info, your IP, they aren't stupid,

if you could legally play ps there are many other sites you could play too,

GG, Party Poker, 888, just to name a few, just pick one and go play👍

After all the replies u got in the other thread, do u really believe there is even a 0.000001 % chance that this is possible? 😂😂 I mean really....

Do u also ask ur ex-girlfriend that stated multiple times she has no more interest in u after u left and blocked her if she would accept u back with a new haircut? 😆

So you knew changing your username is not possible and instead tried to circumvent their terms and conditions.

Have you actually tried to read their terms? Then the answer is pretty clear.

Why would you actually risk it? To have them block you account eventually when you try to withdraw?

Just because you did not like the answers in the other thread, the reality will not change if you just rephrase your question.

I gave you some advice read my posts there

After deleting my PokerStars account can I never play there again?

The best thing is to wait at least 5 years, because this option has been tested and when 5 years have passed, you can safely create a new account at pokerstars

Yes, the best thing is not to create an account again, it will be quickly blocked because they track all players and can do it quickly. Play on other sites temporarily and after a long break from Pokerstars and then come back and play at GGPoker, which is also a cool site with a lot of online access

If you already have a pokerstars account, you can no longer create another one with your same data, they can ban you for life, there are other rooms where you can play as well.

Why do you need to create a pokerstars account again, you haven't told anyone 100% the reason why you blocked it
we can't help you if you're not honest with us because the reason why you did it and why you need a new account is important because maybe someday you'll think about closing it again
what's done is done (even a person who committed a violation and received a 20-year prison sentence can no longer turn back time and correct his mistake)

As several have said, the best advice is to just accept, that you closed your account and then play somewhere else. But if for some reason I found myself in a situation, where I could not play on whatever site, and this was very important to me, I might ask someone close to me, who dont play poker, to open an account and let me play from it.

This is obviously a violation of the TOS, but unless you are a high stakes player, there is probably not that much scrutiny, and the risk of detection might be fairly low. Of course deposits and withdrawals will need to be done by the owner of the account, and its probably also best to not use the same IP adress, you played from before. So if I wanted to do this, I would change my internet provider first. And then also let my "helper" sign up and deposit or withdraw while using my internet.

But again... you created this situation yourself by closing your account, and its somewhat difficult to understand, why its now that important for you to play on PokerStars again? As you even say yourself, there are other sites out there, and PokerStars is not even the largest any more. So if you want to still play MTTs, then why not play them on for instance GG Poker instead?

I don't know why you are so quick to ignore the privacy protection laws.

When sites operate in unregulated markets, they have no incentive to follow any laws of that country. So regardless, what ChatGPT say, this is not something, I would have high hopes of working. Lets say OP contact PokerStars in 6 month and say "according to brasilian privacy protection law you must now delete any information, you have about me". And then PokerStars reply "we dont give a shit, and its not going to happen".

Then what exactly is OP going to do about it? Turn to brasilian authorities? They wont give a shit either but just tell OP, he is not supposed to play on offshore online gambling sites, since its not legal. And even if authorities do care, what are they going to do about it? Its not like, they can threaten PokerStars to withdraw their business permit / license, since they dont have any in the first place ;)

And I think that they will find out about your violations in an elementary way. But maybe if you never withdraw or deposit, then maybe you will at least have a chance to play on this site.

Its not like, I am an expert on the matter either. But there are tons on unregulated markets, where gambling sites operate without cooperation or approval by local authorities, and this generally mean a complete lack of player protection. But actually googling the matter it seems like, Brasil might become a regulated market during 2024, and this will then change the situation of course :)

I have a feeling that companies offering services to Brazilian customers still possibly apply Brazilian laws fully. Seems there is tons of grey and pending in the Brazilian regulations at least based on my 10 minute research... it's legal to play poker for real money it's just not regulated by authorities (yet) so they may respect LGPD rules pre-emptively or they may not based on their own choice.

I think it is worth it to try. Legal methods are always better than illegal methods even if they may be irrelevant. You lose nothing by trying legal methods but you may lose a lot trying illegal methods.

I would only follow legal methods and if they don't work then only other option is to wait till the regulations change which seems very possible

PokerStars has many ways to find your other account. Starting with your IP address, ending with your personal data and data from your bank statements or other payment systems. I do not recommend you to create another account because it will definitely lead to problems. There will come a time when you want to withdraw your funds and then you will simply be disappointed.

If the Pokerstars account is properly authenticated, it is certainly not possible to register again after deleting the account, because it will probably be filtered immediately.
However, re-registration after 5 years is a good option, you just have to wait.
Until then, there are many other online poker sites out there ...
