Only keep small amounts that are negligible to your total net worth online.

If I had a large enough bankroll to be bothered by such things, I would keep enough buyins on sites to ensure I don't have to deposit too much, but the bulk of my bankroll would certainly not be in the poker sites. If sites got shut down again, it just isn't worth the worry even though I would likely get the money back eventually.

Bank works for me. Do keep a bankroll on, but withdraw when it above that.

Not that dumb of an idea

Sorry for the wording but yeah not that bad of an idea, it makes a lot of sense! but why not put it in USDT? Coin or any other non-volatile coin. As far as fees go, it makes sense to put your money in a low-fee space, I move my money from one to the other for this very reason when I'm low on cash, when I'm loaded I'd rather have convenience over fees if it's a choice

No worries about the answer to that question of where to keep your money .... in the bank or at the poker site. I assume you are referring to the money from your winnings. The bank would laugh at me if I came in to deposit my poker winnings.

Yes, many people still doubt the credibility of poker sites, especially when it comes to depositing or withdrawing money, and this is due to the fact that the legal procedures for customers are not facilitated or simplified by the poker sites.

Personally, I would prefer the bank. But in general, it is always better to diversify risks and keep money in different financial instruments and in different financial structures.

Dsfinitely gambling site. I'd rather lose money there than buy some useless stuff from local supermarket or whatever.

I would not keep my money in a poker site, I prefer to invest my money in a bank. Also, I don't trust in poker rooms 100%, I already had my party poker account hacked and they used my money (not much money at least) and party poker did nothing about it, so, I would never keep big amounts of money in poker rooms, only the required to keep playing poker.

A poker site is not a place to keep money in my opinion. It is a place to put a chosen amount of money there only for the purpose of playing poker. Where as a bank is definitely a place to actually keep you money because its so easy to manage there. More preferred yet is a place to invest your money, so that your money will make you more money.

As we know, banks will deduct the account fee every month in addition to the annual insurance and other fees.
In Europe in general the banks do not charge you for running a personal account
and transfers within one country are usually free and very fast, in many cases faster than cryptocurrencies transfers.
You may also be aware that in most of the countries bank deposits are guaranteed by governments
at least to the value of some 10 000 euro, but usually much more,
so even in the unlikely even when a bank closes down, you will get your money back ( at least the guaranteed part).
Compare it with the cryptocurrencies, where when you forget the password, you are dead.
There are many of negative things one can say about the banks, but this is not the case.

But in your country maybe it is different, so you can think about using a cryptocurrency wallet, or paypal or a similar solution.
I am not against keeping the money on the poker room account, but I think it is the least practical from all above options.

Depending on the poker room I prefer to have my money there instead of a bank, if it is a well-known room I would have no problem doing it

I think even poker sites are credible, especially if your account is properly activated, so there is no risk of keeping your money with them in case you don't need it.

This guy zorba who also posts here would. According to him ACR is safer than a US-bank,[emoji3]

For me personal i would not. Also most of the sites require playthroughs for money deposited and they can get bankrupt more quick than a bank in general.

Yes, this is what is meant, as you said, if we win a good amount and we do not need it at the time, it is okay to keep it on the poker site. I think the only danger in my mind is to go back and gamble with this money, and it may lead us to bankruptcy, and then we will feel strong regret for not transferring it from the site to the bank quickly.

So when I win I immediately withdraw 90% of the amount:) and for the rest of the money I play with peace of mind:cool:

I would still keep it at a bank. You never know if a poker site goes out of business.
