WPT suprised the whole Poker industry with thier $2M GTD ($10K/$100K freerolls)
There's only 3weeks left before it comes to an end, what has been your deepest run and biggest payout?
Honestly, the WPT 10k / 100k events are faster than a coffee break! 😂
You start with such a tiny stack that before you even get to know the table, you’re already All-In.
It feels more like “Welcome to the luck lottery!” than a real poker tournament. 🎲
Not much room for skill — just flip and hope for the best! 😅
I'm not getting very far in these tournaments, I was very deep among the leaders in a 10k, however, I caught a sequence of bad beats and ended up being eliminated early, awarding only 4 dollars
I'm not doing very good. I played like 10 of these freerolls and only made ITM in one, for a few bucks. You have to be very lucky, since people goes all-in almost with any-two.
I haven't played on WPT in years. The fact that you guys do and are not happy with the promotion makes me feel like- ok, good thing I did not bother to play there.
The RNG is so bad to me recently that whenever I am up against a small pair I just assume they are getting a set against me. Does not matter if I hold a better pair like AA or just a flip with overcards like tonight. Always the same thing. Can't even be bothered to take me out with something exotic like a straight flush. Only to chop me up and hold me back. Crazy freerolls.
For some reason that I don't know I have like 30 tickets for these freerolls, but the time are awful. The days that I can play, the tournaments starts 9AM..lol
My best result was the minimum amount, I think it was $3.50.
I went back to play there just for this great opportunity to generate a free bankroll, but I think the WPT cards don't like me very much... or are they saving that good surprise for the end, who knows?!
It hasn’t been a very successful series for me, only won $38 across all the tournaments so far. But tomorrow’s the last day, so gotta try to hit something solid!
