The new Full Tilt Poker update released today has affected PokerTracker’s ability to import FTP hand histories, the problem occurs because the hand history header has changed. We are aware are working on a fix to compensate for the changes as soon as we possibly can.

I recently bought the Small Stakes version of PT4 and used the code to register the product on my Mac. However, when I tried to use the code for my Windows, I get an Invalid Registration Code error =/. Has anyone else successfully managed to use the registration code on both Mac and Windows?

If you are getting an invalid registration code error this is caused by one of the following:

1) Your entering in the wrong registration code
2) Your registration code was flagged by our servers

Meanings Of Hud Stats

Where can I find what each of the stats means. For instance, AF means Aggression Factor but how is it counted? Is a AF of 1 better than an AF of 3? How do I read these stats? What about Cbet of 66. What is the 66 in relation to? Is it a percent?

Where can I find a comprehensive list of the meanings and how they are calculated.

I want to set my colors for ranges but without know what half the stuff means or how it´s counted I am a bit lost

Click Configure > Statistics. Type the name in of the stat in the search field, the description and the formula is shown in the Detailed Description window. You can also learn more about this window by clicking the green [?] at the bottom of the window on the left hand side.

I just did the new update. Now when I 'Get hands While Playing' it seems stop importing before its completed. If I 'Stop Getting Hands' it freezes. I have to use Task Mngr to shut down PT4. Any idea of the problem?

edit- I'm gonna do the Housekeeping and Rebuild Cache since I see it recommended like 75 times in the update notes. Maybe that'll work.

I am having an "interesting" issue with the "All-in equity" functionality. I mainly use this as a curiosity thing, so it's not a critical issue. Also, there are compounding factors which cause this issue to happen. So the bug is probably very rare.

I am currently playing on Bovada. I know this site is unsupported. As such, I download the hands and use a converter to make them look like PokerStars hands to upload into my database. This allows me to keep track of my own stats (pretty useless for other players, since they're anonymous). The converted hands show every players' hole cards. Even if they folded pre-flop.

Take a look at the following hand (and ignore how much of a fish I am pre-flop):
PokerStars - $0.10 NL - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG: 144.4 BB
MP: 100 BB
CO: 264 BB
BTN: 38 BB
Hero (SB): 113.7 BB
BB: 81.9 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 7:heart: 7:diamond:

fold, fold, CO raises to 3 BB, fold, Hero calls 2.5 BB, BB raises to 7 BB, CO calls 4 BB, Hero calls 4 BB

Flop: (21 BB, 3 players) 7:club: 2:club: 8:spade: Hero checks, BB bets 8 BB, CO raises to 18 BB, Hero raises to 41.5 BB, BB raises to 74.9 BB and is all-in, fold, Hero calls 33.4 BB

As you can see, only the BB and myself get all-in.

The results show the following equities:
Hero (Pre 15%, Flop 68%, Turn 95%)
Big Blind (Pre 40%, Flop 5%, Turn 5%)

The flop should be: 91% to 9%. I couldn't figure out what was going on. Until I added the CO's hand into the mix. The CO had 4:club:3:club: ! Now I see the right numbers.

But the CO's hand shouldn't be included in the equity calculation because it was not live for the all-in! So the "all-in equity" for that hand (and probably some others) is way off. It seems like I got in worse than I really did.

I don't know if this is something you'll ever fix or look into. But it's something that makes that one part of the program useless for my current site.

Edit: It's not that uncommon. It is off for every pre-flop all-in (unless every player at the table went all-in). When we get in pre-flop, every player who was dealt into the table effects the equity calculation, even if they folded.

Would it be possible to have it analyze hands from pokerstars emailed hand history and if so could someone please guide me? I dont expect to be spoonfed ofcourse but I havent really used PT4 much at all and the app. seems a bit daunting upon a cursory glance.

I'm afraid that was as far as we needed to read to give you an answer on this topic.... PokerTracker does not support Bovada, nor do we support hands that were converted from third party tools. This is an issue you need to take up with the developer of the Bovada Hand Converter because the inclusion of all player's hole cards is the origin of your problem, the PT4 database is not designed to accept the hole cards of players who did not reach showdown.

Bovada is not supported by PokerTracker because they chose to include hand histories that "break the rules of poker" as we know it, they released these hand histories to help stop the collusion issues that occurred on this network (we do not know if the hand histories helped their goal, we are only stating what has been assumed by other players). The hole cards of your opponents should only be known if the player reaches showdown in some manner, that is a standard policy in every poker rule book we have ever come across. Bovada is the only network that chose to break this rule and in turn we cannot support them because we did not design the database to accommodate this abnormality when we developed PT4. It would require a complete rewrite of our database to properly support Bovada hands, this is not something we endevor to do.. if Bovada want's us to add support (and they do - they have actually requested it) then they must change the hand histories to make it compliant with traditional poker rules, at which time it is something we could consider.

I'm sorry... but I'm afraid there is nothing we can do to help. The only suggestion we have is to use a dedicated database for your Bovada hands, because the stats will not be accurate; a new database would keep your other non-Bovada data clear of any statistical abnormalities caused by the non-compliant Bovada hands.

PokerTracker is used by hundreds of thousands of players, its only daunting at first glance because it is a new thought process... once you start watching the built in tutorial videos it becomes rather easy to use the basics effectively. To watch on a tutorial video click the green [?] button found in nearly all pages or reports; a short video will appear which covered just the topic necessary to learn more about that report or page.

PokerStars can email you the hand histories played on your mobile device, once they are in your possession then you can import these hands via our email importing solution.

1. Click PLAY POKER
2. Click Configure,and then view the Email Configuration page.
3. Configure PokerTracker 4 with your email server infiormation, we can pull the hands directly from the server!
4. Click test to make sure PokerTracker can access the server, make any modifications needed if necessary then click ok.
5. Now click GET HANDS FROM EMAIL. This will access your email server and list all of the emails available. Chose the email you wish to import by double clicking it to mark it for import, then start the process by clicking Import Selected. PokerTracker 4 will do the rest!

From reports - Rightclick and select Configure Report. Delete the My C Won stat. At the end of the month, replace the stat or create a special report which shows your winnings that you only look at when the month is over in My Reports.

From Graphs - Right click any graph which shows your winnings, and select Configure Graph. Then set the line thickness to ZERO to hide that graph line. You can return the winnings on the graph by increasing the line thickness when needed, you can also adjust the color to make the graphs pop if you chose to.

Alternate (but obviously less popular) solution - Stop looking at graphs, they don't tell the whole story... the reports are far more valuable than graphs in PT4; there is gold in the reports, pure gold! If you insist on looking at graphs, switch to display by BBs instead of by Currency in the Personal Results graph, and avoid the Results reports - instead focus on the Statistics reports which display in BBs when looking at the Overview reports.
