That's incorrect. Even the hand converter itself suggests to "Use a blank line to separate multiple hands". I just pasted 30 hands at once, and all of them were converted. They end up separated by ♦ ♣ ♥ ♠ on a new line. All hands couldn't be included in a single post, of course, because of this:

I could fit only about 20 of these 30. Even more could fit in a single post, if they are in plain text.

Did you mean that you couldn't fit several hands at once in a single replay? This seems to be impossible at the moment, since each hand has a separate replay link, even when converted for the replayer exclusively. It would be cool if the replays could be linked inside the replayer, so you could jump from hand to hand seamlessly, without opening new tabs.

Hand converter for Live poker

This is a nice tool Debi . Could a live poker player share hands whit this tool?.

Technically... yes. I don't recommend it, because it's not user friendly. The tool must parse hand histories in the appropriate format. This means that you must recreate your live hand into one of those formats... by hand. This is a tedious process, and there could be many guesses and calculations involved.

For example, I took a random live poker video:

Then I took a similar hand from my own data base of PokerStars hand histories, and I replaced the details manually. I am not 100% sure how accurate the data is (especially the stack sizes of the players folding preflop), because the video doesn't show everything like an online poker client would. I had to do some math after watching the recorded live stream for extra clues. If you took notes while playing live, you probably missed a lot of stuff too. Of course, if you don't care about 100% accuracy, you can simply guess the insignificant details.

Here is my interpretation of that live hand in the PokerStars HH format:

When you try to create hand logs manually, you may encounter another problem—it's hard to update the hand log after it's "published". If you notice some error in the replay, it's hard to fix it, because the re-paste is probably going to give you the same link/data back without the fix. If you noticed in the log above, I used arbitrary hand and tournament numbers, because the live hand doesn't have such things. The unique link generated for the replay seems to be strongly correlated to these things (a hash function?). If you get the same link (hash) on re-submission, your changes might (will?) be ignored. This could be a security measure. So, you have to pick a different hand number in order to avoid the hash collision.

All of the above is very inconvenient. The hand converter isn't a hand generator, after all. Well, the hand converter "supports hand histories from 20 different sites and networks". I don't know how the different formats compare to the PokerStars format, but I doubt they'll be a lot easier for manual generation. Perhaps Pokeit can make a special simplified format for easier manual input, which also generates virtually collision-free links?

The converter with the replayer created on our forum is really a very cool and very necessary thing Debi. I hope that with the advent of a new replayer on our forum it will cause unprecedented interest among forum users and will attract even more people to the number of forum users.
