Grasso looked way better than I thought.

Still think Valentina won the fight and that the judges were influenced by the event being in Mexico

Those were legal. There has to be weight on the downed hand for it to be illegal. You can't just put a finger on the mat in order to stop all leg/knee strikes to your head. Herb Dean and the commentators got it right. There is also replay to verify these things if needed.

I dunno the first knee strike here palm was on the canvas.

The strikes after she was trying to replace her hand on the canvas and as you say it was just fingers then.

They will fights again anyway

Had a great night betting on UFC this evening. Many of my bets were on the underdogs and parlays on underdogs too.
I took Barboza, Araujo, Elkins. Also picked Pereira (which was easy, I really like Michel and I REALLY don't like Petroski (< he's a poser )). My only loss was on Yanez (Martinez fought a great fight tonight!)

WTG Barboza!! That was awesome!!!

Barboza showed his heart last night wow! He was done in round 1 dropped over and over standing on wobbly legs for 4 minutes and still overcame the relentless shots from Yusuf what a warrior!!

Unlucky Volk Head Shot Dead shouldnt have took the fight on short notice.

Usman v Khamzat was intregin

Usman looked way better then last time out against Leon.

Khamzat is a beast but the gas tank seems to be an issue.

I think if the fight was 5 rounds Usman wins.

Also think eventually Khamzat will get beaten.

I wouldn't mind seeing this fight again

what's Everyone else think.

I still think It should've been a DQ, not a No contest.

But I've changed my mind about Johnny Walker not being concussed.

This ref signal was pretty clear the fight is over, but the wanted to keep fighting anyways.

Sorry about that. I think he won. I'd like to watch it again though, without any type of excitement.

I agree, it shouldn´t have been stopped at that moment. But, I don't really blame the ref, Jiri looked like he had collapsed. And, to be honest, it looked like the fight was going to be over soon after that.

If Jiri didnt complain and stated he was basically out from the elbows.

It cannot be that bad of a stoppage.

Let's go Aspinal and new UK coming for all the belts.

Next one will be when Topuria beats Volk

The Jiri stoppage was not early at all he ate 6 right hands and 8 short elbows unanswered… jordo falls backwards in a slump clearly out and pereira lands onto of him in mount… how many more shots did he need to take?? Great stoppage casuals think otherwise

Jiri himself admitted he was out and it was a correct stoppage, but the great MMA expert says otherwise

As far as I know he fights for Georgia and lives in Spain. And have both citizenships. Nothing to do with the UK.

That's because he's got class.... .unlike .. .well... doesn't need to be said. And of course it went over your head. (because you have it buried)

Agreed
But does Jiri seem like the type of person who would complain? I think he's a true warrior and a true martial artist, showing great respect to his opponent, the ref., etc. He's a classy guy.

1st round was looking pretty good... the calf kicks were brutal. He did manage to tag Alex and take him down. That left hook is brutal though.

I was pumped up for Tom there and loved the way he stated it was the most scared he's ever been while in the ring. I put my biggest bets of the night on Tom and it obviously paid off (too bad Mackenzie couldn't pull it off).
