He failed in the game against Milwaukee, getting 3 runs in 2.2 innings. And played very cool after that against the Dodgers, where he only got 2 hits and 0 runs in 4.1 innings! And this season in those games where he played more than 2 innings only 3 of the 19 games had a grand total of more than 9 runs (3 games had exactly 9 runs). That means 13 games where Pfaadt played a significant role ended with a total under 8.5 runs! That's an incredible statistic, let's be honest! And in the postseason, too, the total of 9 runs didn't break through in the 2 games where Pfaadt was the starting pitcher (4-2 Arizona win over the Dodgers and 6-3 win over Milwaukee). Lens was IMO the better team in this game and even scored at pretty much the last attack of the game but unfortunately VAR cancelled the goal for an offside in the build up play, so it ended 0-0 and we've got only half stake back...
