MLB
Atlanta Braves @ Washington Nationals:
Atlanta Braves (to win and individual total > 2.5 runs) /// 1.70
Last bet won. And this is my 4th winning bet in a row! Yes, the 8-game losing streak hurt my MLB betting stats a lot, but as I wrote earlier, this season can still be a success. Congratulations to everyone who bet on Pittsburgh, as this bet won very easily. Bailey Falter not only pitched a perfect game (0 runs and 0 walks), but he also covered 7 innings for the Pirates, which helped Pittsburgh even win. Still, the Pirates offense is too weak this season. I should also note that Bryan Reynolds, Jared Triolo, Alexander Canario have become less effective compared to last season. My betting score is MLB 127-120 in favor of successful, NBA 161-182 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 9-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 4-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Atlanta Braves on the road will beat Washington Nationals and will score 3 runs or more in the 2nd game of the series. In the 1st game of the series for Washington played their best starting pitcher Mitchell Parker (with whom the Nationals won 7 games out of 10 this regular season), and for Atlanta played a frankly weak starting pitcher Spencer Strider, for whom it was the 4th game in the last 2 seasons. So it's no surprise that the Nationals won in the 1st game of the series. But in the upcoming game we will see Atlanta's most stable starting pitcher, the talented AJ Smith-Shawver. Yes, amazingly enough, he is pitching an incredible performance this season with an ERA of “2.33”! Also, Atlanta has won 5 games out of 7 when AJ Smith-Shawver was their starting pitcher (the current streak is 5 straight wins and the Braves have scored 3 runs or more in all of those games). For Washington will play Trevor Williams as their starting pitcher (his current ERA is “5.91”). This starting pitcher has gotten at least 4 runs in the last 4 games (including against Atlanta). Also, Atlanta has broken a 1-game losing streak 11 times out of 14 this season. Bet? Absolutely!
