Rugby is not very popular in Hungary.
That's why I prefer to stick with football, although I don't like it that much.

Well, I lived my childhood in Colombia, then I came to live here in brazil and I think that because of culture or custom I prefer soccer, but maybe over time my opinion may change, who knows hahaha

Both tbh, rugby has taken hold since my lad started playing as a junior this year.

Football being a Leicester fan not been great
Very cool. Rugby is a fun game that teaches a player a lot of respect and I sure your lad will enjoy playing it a lot.

Between football and rugby, I prefer football. Here where I live, rugby is not a very popular sport.

That makes sense. I get it. i think if you grew up with it different sports, the you would prefer it over others.

Rugby exudes masculinity, it's the most manly sport, real men who don't pretend, who, although they're very tough, respect each other much more than footballers.

Football over rugby, Rugby union can get very boring at least in Rugby league you get 6 attempts and when have to give the to the other team.

Football (soccer) of course. Rugby doesnt even exist in my country... Even civilians, students, kids ect. can play soccer with small chance of injury. Rugby and the similar american football are for professionals and it's too brutal for europeans.
Once I tried to watch american football for 30 mins in TV, after then I gave up. Little play and loooooooong brakes.

That opinion is fair enough.
I grew up watching rugby and am use to it. So I really enjoy the physical battles between players.
I did not watch a lot of football, so I do not understand the quality required to do what they do and I think that is why I feel watching football is not very entertaining.

I have also struggled to get into American football because of how long it takes.
