When they drafted Eli, I laughed, said he's not even close to being as good as his brother, weak arm, weak head, wasted pick.
But I have come to like the guy, and I'm an Eagles fan. He knows he is in his Brothers shadow, and he is humble and doesn't care, he just goes out and plays and is happy for any success he and his teammates can achieve. He is just an average QB, but(and I hate saying this) he and his Giants have a ring.

You can't blame the Giants for drafting Eli....that distinction goes to the Chargers. Just blame them for trading for him. LMAO!!!

10/24 Weekend Football

Couple of really surprising things today.

Nothing more surprising than seeing the Raiders up 38-7 or something like that at halftime against the Broncos.

My goodness McFadden is going CRAZY.

59-14 babY!!!! Oakland came to Denver and just RAN A TRAIN on the poor Broncos!

They set a new franchise record for most points scored in a game.

I only hope that Al Davis doesn't mess something up somehow... I know he will....

Seriously? How about the Saints getting spanked by the Cleveland Browns? Doesn't get much more humiliating than that. Wish I had McFadden, glad he's back, and in 2008 form. Thank god they didn't start Boller.

I had Browns +14 as I was confident they would lose by 10 at worst. But I didn't see them winning lol. Their defence is pretty decent this year tbh.

Kenny Britt had a monstrous game too, I totally didn't see that coming, and I dropped him in one league just this past week before this breakout game :(

Eli does suck. Yeah he won a superbowl the same way Rex Grossman got to one.

I'm pretty sure both these guys won't finish the season, and they are both beloved by ownership. But who gets fired first, Phillips or Singletary? Would it be surprising to see them both fired and replaced tommorrow morning?
Two extremely talented teams who are poorly coached.

At least 15-20 teams would love to have Eli be the starting QB for them. But yesterday he was terribly inconsistent. Right now I have to say the others were right, the Falcons and Titans look a lot better.

But I feel good about the g-men, 5-2 heading into their bye, and all their problems are fixable.

I think both will finish the season, who will replace them? Also J.Jones is known for never firing a coach in season.

It's weird that the Giants can get after the QB as good as they do but still give up points like they do at times. I mean even after Romo went down I just don't understand how the Cowboys stayed in the game. Gonna continue to be interesting.

His receivers are more inconsistent than he has been this season. I mean they are looking unbelievable one minute and tipping it up for the defense the next. Come playoff time that crap comes back to haunt ya. At least he ain't like Favre has been this season....throwing it straight to the defense. LMAO!!!!.

Giants might be the best team in the NFC, but they would barely break the top 10 in the AFC. I just don't understand how 2 conferences can be so lopsided.

10/31 Weekend Football

Sad for my Giants to be on bye, always want to continue playing during a win streak :(

Otherwise here are some updates before the weekend games starts:

Jason Campbell will be startig QB with Raiders.
Vince Young should be healthy enough to start at QB for the Titans.

And here's an article by Silver about embattled coaches and their possible successors (wow already! lol):
