It is good cause after concentrating for so long, you gotta take some kind of break.

You can sit out if you need more time but you will still gradually lose some chips from ante and small/big blinds.

For me it's super necessary, even when I was at university I used the Pomodoro technique.

friend i believe you're confused for me it would be better if it were 10 minutes because yeh times i play but 15 hours straight imagine if you didn't have those 5 minutes how would you go to the bathroom drink water eat something get up together it would be inhumane and not a game to relax

5 minute breaks are good. Wash your face, down a couple shots of whiskey and get back in there.

We all need to go to the washroom (even you), and we all need to refresh at some point.

I think you're comment about players returning with a whole new way of playing, is somewhat of an overstatement, and over reaction.

Most players have a style of play, and if they do change, it won't be long before the old habits kick in....usually within 10-15 minutes.

If you're following the game closely, this shouldn't be a problem for you.

Make some coffee...go for a pee...throw some water on your face, and come back refreshed.

Of course, this is good, during the break you can break away from the game and make coffee and a sandwich, sometimes I even manage to wash the dishes))

I think it's necessary and important, especially in long tournaments where we sit for a long time and almost always in the same position, taking a break is always a good idea because we can stretch our body and drink something so we can continue without any problems later.

I like the intervals, they make long tournaments less exhaustive.

Good since I can smoke at my desk. If I had to go outside or something it would be bad. :)

After every hour there is a break, at my pace of play that affects me because even when I am understanding the type of play of the opponents at my table, that break makes me lose focus and return to collect new data because in the end some players come back with another way of playing, I put it in consideration of you, good or bad break.
Hello, I think breaks are very good, there is an opportunity to stretch or eat a little bit! I do not imagine tournaments without breaks, no one will play in them, it seems to me impossible to sit and play for 8-9 hours! According to me, there is not even a break of 5 minutes, it seems to me that it needs to be increased to 7-8 minutes, or sometimes you do not even have time to make tea! Do not judge strictly, this is just my opinion! I wish everyone luck at the tables!

Hi mate, yes I understand that this is the idea of all players, in my case more than tiredness I feel that I lose the rhythm of the game, for that reason I put that comment, and yes obviously I would not take the time but I still hold my opinion hahaha but only in my case, greetings.:D
