Since I play mostly on 888, I thought I'd start a thread about experiences and tips here. Not to be confused with the 888 support thread for complaints, etc.

It's a quirky room, but offers the most free rolls I know of.

There are huge differences between the mobile and PC version.

Tip #1: There are a ton of free rolls that only appear on the mobile version. You can register on the mobile and then play on the PC version.

I just had a look on the mobile App, didn't see any extra freerolls.

They are there, and typically have much less players. They are mostly all for tickets. For example the $545 Freebie at 11pm EST is about to start. Pays out 5 places 109$ tix. Some pay out as many as 120 tickets. Cheers

Here's another oddity. Many STT's , (at least in the micro stakes) are not in the mobile version.
Unlike the freerolls I mentioned earlier, these do not transfer over to mobile, the last time I tried.

I like to switch to mobile if I have to cook, or do something away from the PC - and vice versa, switch to the PC from the mobile when possible.

I really like the double or nothing STT's . I won 4/5 last night. I think I got too tired on that last one.
Sure it's a big rake, but easy to win.

Those aren't exclusive to the mobile client.

You probably have some filters on your desktop client so you can't see them.

Geez, you are right, it's the "Show Satelites" filter.

OK revised tip #1: Click the "Show Satelites" filter to see all the extra freerolls ! Dough !

Hey does anyone know how to display "your tournaments" in the PC version (to show what tournaments you are registered in) ?
I'm not sure there is a way to get it on PC version, but it's easy to find in the mobile version.

No, just click on the "show satellites" tic box that reveals them.

They never answered me when I brought it up with them, but anyway that mystery is solved, it was the "show satellites" tic box below the filters.

I noticed before that many Sit and go tourney's weren't on the mobile, but it seems only the 0.10$ STT is missing now. Or am I not somehow seeing it ?

They have been upgrading quite a bit lately.

There was an advantage probably many never noticed. 888 recently patched it, the hand replay would always reveal everyone's cards, whether they mucked or not. Anyway, I'm glad they finally fixed it. Pokerstars had the same issue, since fixed as well.

Or was it some magical power I somehow had bestowed to me and has since been revoked? I guess I'll never know unless someone else confirms it.

Here is something else I thought I would mention.

I recently passed the 20th level.
If anyone else is getting to it, you know it takes a lot of points. I was surprised to find that the points levels drop back again after level 20, so you need much less points again to climb the next levels.

I was hoping that daily spinner wheel would start paying out after 20 but no such luck. I think it has more to do with how much you deposit, and my paltry minimum deposit way back when doesn't cut the mustard, so to speak. Oh well.

888 just shifted the free rolls around quite a bit. More ticket payouts, harder to get.
Not impossible, maybe more worthwhile in the long run ?

Since the shift, I've already got much more returns in ticket value even with the lean payout numbers, even if those tickets didn't pan out profitable, I lost nothing and had a great opportunity .
