I don't like late registration to long, I think tournaments shouldn't have late registration. Cause tournaments take long enough, without late registration. I feel if you are going to play a tournament , you should play right from the start. Tournaments with long late registration you can add 3 to 4 more hours, which is too long in my opinion.

Yes, I really don't like registering too late. I had such cases when I just turned off the computer and went to bed with a very good stack in the tournament. Late registration for 3-4 hours is a mockery.

I prefer tournaments without late registration. However, it is profitable for the site, so we have to get used to it.

Late registration is definitely a double edged sword. Sure it helps with drawing in more players, but also punishes those who make it on time with a longer game.

I don't like tournaments with a lot of late registration time, that's one of the reasons I don't play much at americas cardroom!

Yes I do, but I also understand the more people the more payouts/possibly higher payouts and especially if the site is sponsoring a sweet tournament it allows them to cover there costs. So yes, I do not like them but maybe it is for a logical reason. So now I guess the question is, is better to join at the start or wait until just before the late registration period is up.

I don't think anyone likes long late registrations. Who would enjoy playing for another hour or more before getting close to ITM.

The truth is that very long registration periods are quite unpleasant
ACR has several tournaments as well.

Even though I'm into tournaments with long membership, it happens a lot in pokerstars knockout tournaments, it's good for you to be late, and it also makes the tournament more profitable.

Some nice freerolll tournaments have a very late registration time, sometimes 180 minutes of late registration! You have to be very, very patient before you see the number of poker players drop in the tournament.I do not like this kind of freerolls, you too?
Although the price of a single chip is very low at the start of the tournament, unlike any other subsequent stage, in the early levels good players will maximize winnings against weak players. This is due to the large number of pots being played postflop. In these hands, a good deep-stacked player will have a significant advantage over weak opponents. Therefore, we can derive a general rule for registering in tournaments: if your expectation in a tournament is about zero, it is better to register later. If the advantage over the field is high - as early as possible. This is because the value of the starting stack at the beginning of the tournament and at the end of the late registration is different.

I think it doesn't matter - late or early registration. If you play well, you can enter the tournament at any time.

No problem. I always use the late registering, since I have barely any time to start in time. So yes, to people who have hard circumstances or other items going on late registering is good!

When tourneys have over 2 hours late registration, I wait till the final hour. I study 20BB play and fold/shove ranges to give me the best chance of catching up. 4 hours and 20 minutes of late registration is crazy.

I dislike the long late registration times. Might as well place the tournament at a different time.

I have to admit that I did not come across freeroll tournaments that give you the opportunity to register for them 180 minutes after the tournament started. The most I came across is 120 minutes.

And no, I don't hate them. Usually, in such tournaments the blinds grow slowly, which gives you time to play carefully and thoughtfully. That suits me. I don't like tournaments where the blinds grow very fast, I would say that in such tournaments you depend more on luck than you do in tournaments where the blinds grow slowly.

There are a lot of bingo players at the beginning of the freeroll tournaments, which is why tournaments with slow growth of blinds suit me, because I don't have to try my luck against them with hands I don't really like, fearing I would lose all my chips from the blinds.

Of course you need to be very patient, patience is what you need to achieve good results in poker.
