Did you enter a 100 thousand dollar tournament to collect 1,200 or 2,000? Its crazy to fold premium cards because you are near the bubble. Take advantage of all those timid players that are just trying to survive and collect a pitance. Be agressive, even with non premium cards,
make a lot of chips, which is what you need to win the tournament or cash big.

It will depend on how many chips I have at the time. If you have too many, the tendency is to pay. If you have a few, the tendency is to fold, but not with AA KK.

When it's buble time, I play even more agressive and try to have advantage of passive players. You should play to win the tournament, not to just reach ITM. Of course, this on regular situations. If you are totally short stack (like 5bb) you can fold premium hands.

Depends if I’m short stacks or not, In a case that there is no option I would fold it to get inside of the bubble.

I pretty much fold all hands when >20 BB to preserve my stack and then I jam almost everything <10BB

Just curious to hear what others think. If you have good cards, AA, KK, QQ etc. how close to the bubble would you just fold them. Assuming you can't see a cheap flop. Just to clarify: you are near the bubble (above or below), how many players would be left before the bubble.? Or would you shove all in every time?

If you are near the bubble with AA, KK, QQ, I think you have to go all in and everybody is going to fold.. neverin the other way..

There is no more logical reason in the tournament, and that is to reach to ITM. So in that case, I even fold my hands like AK and AQ with the little stack I have so that I can reach my orphanage. So if you have a little stack in such a situation, try to fold and if you have a good stack, play only with good hands.

I wouldn't fold the hands you list and I wouldn't auto shove. A lot would depend on position and stack sizes. And, I would try to avoid a multi-way hand. With a premium hand shoving near the bubble often leads to everyone folding and little profit. If some players have already limped in I will raise an unusually large amount to make it look like a bluff. If I'm not in position and first in the pot I will make a 'normal' bet like 3.5 or 4bbs. I'll look to get my stack in post flop.

It depends on the situation imo.... if there are many players with shorter stacks u probably should be extra tight but if u r the shortest stack u might have to put yourself at risk

Poker is a tactical game, you need to evaluate not only your hands, but also the general situation at the table. Of course, with strong hands like AA and KK, you should go all-in in all cases. If you are trying to steal the blinds with a short stack, you need to have at least a decent hand to get a call and have good chances of winning.
