It definitely is. I'll never regret starting to play tournaments eight years ago. It's been a lot of fun and I've met loads of nice people. It has also provided me with an excuse to travel to Vegas for my birthday the past three years. For regular casino games i could just drive down the road to Foxwoods, but you can't find multiple poker tournaments running pretty much all day around here.
