You'l be playing in the PM league next month (I think you'll be in it), as your in the top 500 of the LB so far, so my question for you is do you have the 150vpps or not yet? If you don't have the 150vpps than what's the point in playing the PM league as you wont be playing for the top of the money LB but only 2nd tier money which isn't the greatest TBh but your choice.

I also am playing in the Open league this month and was as high as top 30 but been taking a beating lately, and dropped to top 100 and after my performance this game am about 150 give or take, but I don't doubt I'll be top 20 by end of the month but am trying/striving for that top place finish this month and wish to enter the PM league as the Open league winner (that's my over all goal)

I have 500 + vpps! really want to get into the premier league! my goal is also top 20 +))) but while I'm at 320 place, but still a lot of time! and I'll try to finish well this tournament a month! See you in October in the Premier League! good luck to you!

People will donk off their chips with any hands preflop wanting a cheap double up, therefore you are more than likely to get value for premium hands. With this in mind it just makes sense to play tight and get easy double ups

why dont you (Edik and Naruto)
play the premier league qualifier, I find it way easier to get to premier league
and its only $1.10 and all the money is still up for grabs as payout
better way to go IMO (plus you earn vpps too)

who plays on PokerStars in the open league, tell me how to survive in the game in the early stages of the tournament?

hi friend

I play many times the open, just stay calm
play premium hands, or draft the cheapest way possible, using time as a strategy, do not despair important thing is to score points .... starting of the 1000 players and you get points now if you hope to play aggressive results topp 400 and if you win we are in the premier league

greetings =)

I hate this tournament. About two years ago I finished 20th and I won only a few cents after hours of hard playing. Since then I didn't play in that tournament for the simple reason of not wanting to lose time. My advice for you is not to play in this tournament anymore : it's very hard to win and even if you do you don't win to much. If anybody has another opinion I'd like to hear it.

Its not about the small cash for 1 game
its about the big cash for doing great all month
still a lot of time to invest tho

where the goal is not to win a tournament, and within a month to win a lot of tournaments! for the first prize award points. Relegation to the prize area - the points taken off. if it enters the top 10, are a good prize!

Just play the qualifier... just a dollar and way easier to qualify.
the premier skill league itself is a bit tougher though.

the best strategy is to play only premiums (AK is not a premium, because it is a flip against a low pp, and we don't want to make flips), and then make time. You can also try to limp when you have pp, and try to get a set, but only if you know you won't have to invest more than a blind to see the flop. If you play like this, you can make top 500 of the league and qualify to the premier.

For the ones in the premier league, it is a tough league. You have to be the tightest you can. Only make a push with QQ+, try to see cheap flops for sets. If you are 3betted preflop, you are usually behind. And an important thing: the objective is to make points, and that will take almost 3 hours of tournament to make or be near the money, which is where the good points are, so don't desperate if you are left with 4 or 5 blinds, cause lots of players try to last as long as they can. I advice not to play in the early stages, until more or less half the players have lost. There are times that in an early stage of the tournaments, you have to fold QQ preflop, so watch out. Try to take notes on loose players and attack them. In the middle and late stages of the tournaments, blind stealing is very important, but only when the situation is appropiate. It is a very very tough league.

Good luck to everyone

I agree with tight/position play and not to forget to look for easy spots to get more chips. But although i know there are many players who do not use or understand any poker concepts i should give them more credit sometimes.
If someone calls my 7x BB isoraise and make a donkbet allin after the flop comes 732 rainbow i should fold my rockets before the bubble.

<br>Micalupagoo already asked why not to play the qualifier to the psl. I think it is easier than the normal OSL too. You can be listed in the top ten even with less than the 5 needed plays.

hello guyz,
i m too trying to get into the Pso league leaderboard , actually my main aim is too score 400 for 3 consecutive time , i have been close for two times able to score 400 two time but got unlucky third time.
earlier i was also eager to know what hands should i play because my AK,AQ,AJ getting busted to some donk player who comes all in 97s or some other trash cards and made thier flush or staright , they didnt care about play , their main startegy is to accumulate chips within 15 min of the game and then they will bully around the small chips guyz or they are happy to get busted.
I remain pretty watchfull and try to note the player who are maniac who always sees the flop as if u got monster hands(aa,kk,qq,aks) then only u can go against them , if u get beated then thats the bad beat u cant doo mutch about it for me u have to play gud poker instead of what going around u. If u survive this u would be surely double up as these guyz just bleed chips and they were shouting come take chips if u dare.
After it try to pick player what theye were doing , from whom u can bleed chips ,after u got double u can play speculative hands , suited connector etc

Just b patient and try to fold ur hands if u sure ur beat at table . and u will find maniac all over the freeroll and every stage of the game .

goodluck guyz .
i m still trying for big bang ticket hopefully i score 400 my 3 consecutive time

Down for this for sure, how does $5 sound to the higher ranked member, at the end of the month
