It all depends on the availability of free time. I'm interested in both options, but overall I like MTT tournaments better.

I used to prefer Sit and Go games on Pokerstars, but now they are virtually all turbos, I prefer MTT games. If you have the time, MTTs are more worthy of your time and less likely to put you on tilt.

I prefer tournaments than sit'gos because I don't like to play against the same players all the time, which usually happens when you play sit'gos at the same hour everyday.

SNG's are great since they're much more formulaic than MTT's meaning you need to think less and follow the script more. MTT's are more volatile with short rounds, as are the three handed spin-go games, whereas SNG's have more structure allowing you to multitable more of them effectively. I play them all but multitabling Omaha games is more of a whack-a-mole situation.

I find sng's robotic and boring. I only add in a few of them (D0Ns) when closing in on the end of an MTT session.
There's so much more to the MTT game. IT is much more interesting to play vs. SNG's.

If you enjoy MTT play but don't have the time perhaps try playing smaller field tournaments (less number of entrants). In micro limits Pokerstars offers some tournaments where they CAP the number of entrants (ie. $5 buyin, 300 CAP (max. number of players is 300). And some of the smaller sites will run tournaments with smaller number of entrants (ie. iPoker network, (it. Titan Poker).

Outside peak hours most MTTs on PokerStars are small field these days anyways, except the most popular formats like BountyBuilder or very low buyins like 1,1$. But the issue is, with regular speed blinds even those (including the 300 CAP) still takes around 5 hours to complete. So a more realistic solution for those short on time is to play turbos or even hyperturbos. The hyperturbos also have a lower rake and tend to attract quite a few recreational players.

I like them both. If my chip account is small then I mostly play freeroll tournaments. Otherwise I play both. Tournaments last longer but are more interesting.

I play with both of them. I prefer the second one, although it takes more time and more concentration

I prefer tournaments, but especially on Pokerstars these can have 4,000+ players meaning the tournaments go on well into the small hours.

I much prefer around 500 entrants where the prizes are decent, but I also get to go to bed before 2am.

Hi Lalinha.
I was not able to make up my mind about that for so long, so I ended up playing both. The problem with MTTs is that you only win or get in the money once in a while, let alone the amount of time you spend playing them. As you mentioned, a sit&go only lasts a reasonable period and playing those coud be more rewarding. To be honest when I lose a couple of tourneys, I go back to make it up in SIT&GOs.

It is better to play sitengoshki on 3-5 tables more often to understand the principle of the game at the pre-final stage, since the most difficult thing is to hit from two tables to one, and if the MTT game seems to be in the middle stage, then I didn't pull it anyway, the main thing is to get into the final..

I don't play enough volume to make my mind neither and I mainly play for fun, so I kinda mix both here and there.

I try to combine, I usually play sng, compensating for mtt bay-in
