Has anyone ever seen a large prize come up? I've. Played loads of these but never seen major money come up on the reel, this is where it's very obvious that the prize that comes up is pre selected and not at all random
Had won a 375 spin and go before. Think the buy in was 25-50 dollars though.

The most I've ever bought in for was $10 I think but usually just $1

I use to play S&G on low stakes. I must say that i can make a little profit of this kind of games. Maybe i should play higher stakes?

unibet has their version of spin and go, the multipliers are a bit diffrent, its x1.5 x3 x5 x10 x25 etc.
they say because its x1.5 and not x2, the x3 will hit much more times.

i have played 1556 games and these are my multiplierers
x1.5 is around 55% of the time.
Multipli
Basically you need to win the big multipliers to get some profit.

If someone plays a lot, it is possible to succeed in a bigger spin. I rarely play, so nothing serious has been happening lately.

I've never seen my stats, but I think that I finish my sessions with earnings most of the times, and just once I had a third or fourth place in the leaderboard.
I tried in $5 spins twice and lost, so I returned to $1 and $2.

Correct me if I'm wrong?
All Buy in levels are the same, just one winner. But when the prize pool has a X10 multiplier or more, there are prizes for the other places too.

It is possible to make money with Spin&Gos some Pros haven taken this endenvaour. But you need to play a high volume and get lucky at some point with a high multiplier that you win.

You really gonna make me go dig for the results dude XD.... not sure what the exact number was giving it was 5 years ago but trust me it does pop. The screen was purple or burgundy not sure... if that helps. Might of been more I bought in for I was pretty reckless then. Didn't care about the future just wanted a quick escape rather then trying to carefully build a bankroll.

Made some calculations and with spins it seems that when playing 2.- ones and getting 250x first place do get 375 - in any other buy-in this is not possible ... But then i'm not even sure whether this multiplier actually exists lol

These tend to have very low sustainable ROIs.

Dont know where you allegedly achieved that but in spins if multiplier is high enough for entire TOP3 to get something then 2nd and 3rd place are never getting the same amount

You probably were fortunate enough to hit 250x (not 240x which dont even exist) on 5.- buy-in - this would explain winner getting 1k. Also in case like this second place probably gets 150 while third place settles with 100.-

Yes, you can earn money there, but you need a good bankroll, because spin&go always has the biggest streaks in online poker, 200 buy-ins per limit, I think it would be a good approach

The rake at PS is 8%. You can read it there. And you get the biggest price in 1 of 1.000.000

depending what denomination you play. but i think it works out in the end. you have a 1 in 3 chance of being the winner. but if your playing for small pots, you dont make a ton of money

If you play a lot, than hitting a large multiplier is not because of luck.

my opinion is that at the moment, if you play poker professionally, then the optimal thing is to join a poker school and play in a stable

I played a lot of spin and go omaha, I was able to make money there, but sometimes there are good streaks and other times not, the truth is I don't know what my winning and losing percentage would be playing spin and go but I think I wasn't playing them that bad

I have only played them on America's Cardroom, and the biggest prize I won was $100 one time, more typically the prize is just the minimum. When I first started playing I liked them because they were fast paces, but I soon grew tired of the high variance format. Those games play so quick, if you are heads up it's often very shallow stacks. Even then the games can go on for a while heads up, where you are just basically flipping all-in pre every hand.

Maybe someone is making money. Maybe someone wins the lottery, or someone sometimes wins in the casino. But in my opinion such tournaments are just a game of bingo. Luck in such tournaments is significantly more important than the skill of the player.
Old post I know but seems the thread was revived. I just wanted to make a comment to illustrate what a 'wining Spins player' might look like.
I have a friend who played SPINS professionally. He played over 300,000 games, many in the $60 buyin but gradually moving up to $100's
I forget what his exact numbers were at the time but I recall him saying he was making over $2,000-$2,500/week just in rakeback alone.

Rakeback program & Supernova were stopped on Pokerstars, and the games dried up. Many regs. moved on to other formats.
