work in a few hours game can be addictive.

When I read this I get worried, playing poker shouldn't be about the amount you win and also should NOT be addictive. It seems like you are playing poker like a gambler is playing a slot machine, increasing the bet amount, until you lose it all...

It is wise of you to self-exclude you from playing. Did you know that you can also exclude yourself from certain buy-in levels? That might also be a good option.

And as I said before, considering decent bankroll management, just play one buy-in level and try to crush that until you have the bankroll to go up in limits.
Check out the article about this:https://www.cardschat.com/poker-bankroll-management.php

I think that following good bankroll management will also make the game less addictive and less likely that you lose your entire bankroll in a downswing period.

look at this game I do not have to complain because I made a good amount, of course I am a micro player but my gains in spin go was considerable. and to vary the dollars that I won in the spin I lost in the tournaments :'(

You are right friend but if have a 1k bankroll and the milly is on must register even though thats not good bankroll management.:top:
Heck if have only 215 am in:eek:

I want to get a bankroll thats actually worth managing excluded myself as needed sleep for work took a half day relaxed drinking tea no rush.
Will start the day playing the daily 100 freeroll on stars and this time try to avoid the temptation to battle outside of BRM keep the gorilla off my back.:D
Thanks for your honest opinion it is appreciated and enjoy seeing others opinions but yes have ran bankroll of cliff few times in spin and go if honest, the interested gambler in me though wants to see a cardschatter put a massive spin and win pic on this thread that makes them $100 6x $600 wins look like chump change.:hahaha:
Sorry if putting too much bull in your thread:top:

Wow Hugh

Congrats here my friend but i never knew you gambled so much. I love spin and gos especially when there is tickets available as i feel there is great value here, in terms of your run up, thats huge and i cant imagine how a downswing for you on spin and gos would amount to?
If you have to include a self exclusion that clearly indicates that you need that as otherwise you would be likely to continue, i respect and applaud you for this.
The 10 6 was mighty lucky to turn that 6 but that hand played itself as theres no way anyone is folding a flopped 2 pr.
Good Luck my friend..big stakes, you must love opening those chests!

Congratulations, hugh, personally I do not like spin, but I see that you have them really dominated.
You did well not to climb the spin of $100 must be respected banking :), but I hope to see you soon at these levels. :icon_thum:cool:

Hugh the style you play is called martingale system to double the bet when loose. It is proved that it is with the same expectation as flat bet that means only play 1 amount unless your bankroll is infinite. Look for this martingale on the internet.

I don't like them, it's more about gambling and luck than skill. Almost all of players go all-in every hand, you barely can see flop. Not my cup of tea.

I don't dislike the game, but the worst for me is being hiper-turbo, it's more a question of lucky hands.

I think the game of spin & go has nothing to do with poker, it looks more like a roulette or even a game in thimbles.

The dispersion is very large in this category of games, the degree of winning and losing similar to the swing...

What I know is that it's the only place I heard someone win $1M from a $5 buyin but when I played before the prizes were usually unfair for the most part.

Todays session of spin and go a real up and down like a yoyo battle some good players there tonight down 600 at one stage decided to quit after a $400 spin got me $200 in profit for the day.
Still chasing that elusive 10x 25x or better another day maybe.:fight:

Nice wins there mate, keep it up! :icon_thum
I was wondering, since you also play omaha, do you play the Omaha Spin&Go's as well?

I do play them and I must say I enjoy them more than the Holdem version.
Must say that the biggest downside to this omaha variant is the ante that you pay right from the first hand on (in contrast to regular omaha mtts where there are no antes at all). It adds to the fast pace though.

Pretty profitable if you're good at it. It's not that fun though, you're shoving a lot and playing robot solved poker most of the time (under 10BBs); some people are into it, I'm not. You literally have push/fold charts you follow to play optimally.

SPIN GO]s

I play SPIN GOS in session locks are polls games and allow us to play fast way

I always try to start the sessions with slower tournaments and at the end I get the fastest tournaments do not think it's really cool to play spin go for several hours at a time while the volume of tournaments is great the tendency is to err rather with a high volume of tournaments played .

These suck! Have played aooo many and it’s notnworth it - most are no value and if you do get a juicy one - the amount you may win doesn’t out do the one you do - the bigger I have ever seen $1 was $50. And didn’t win - most of the time it’s $2 or defo under $10 - they are bollox

Agree with most posts here on this one. These tourney's are mostly shove fests.
