Low buy-in tournaments:
if you put a tarp, it becomes a circus.
if you put up a fence, it becomes a madhouse.:devilish::devilish::devilish:

It's crazy, but it's calmer than the freeroll, there are less crazies

Thanks! With 2 little kids I have only been able to play our free rolls and the CasinoOrg ones and have had some success lol. Holidays coming up I may take some time off the cash tables and try some micro MTTs.

I play a lot more freeroll tournaments than other buy-in tournaments

On average, out of the 8 daily tournaments I play, at least 1 I manage to reach the final table, on bad days I get close, but in general I like it, it's a way to have fun (or get stressed a lot) and you don't spend anything.

By the way, I built my bankroll through freerolls, and I'm very fond of and proud of my balance, I don't spend it or withdraw it and when I spend it I give my blood playing hahaha

Same thing here, just free rolls for me, they definitely help as I’ve been getting better and more comfortable playing them since November. Cash tables have been very profitable for me, especially how little time I need to commit which works for my day to day lol. But MTTs are where I wanna mainly focus down the road when things work out better time wise, gonna be a while tho cuz kid commitment is real… lol.

I for sure notice my nerves more playing even our free rolls compared to when I play cash, there it’s almost automatic, the free rolls I’m trying so hard to break things down and focus, and just when I think I’m dialing things in, “you have been moved to another table”…. Hahaha

Hi!
Of course, the strategy is very different, but in your experience, is the cash game really calmer, more stress-free, and more secure than the tournament?
Do you play, have you played for a specific number of hours at a specific time on a given day (or every day)?
I think the tour is your great love, it's much more exciting, but of course it's not easy when you're with your family, and in principle you can make a living with the cg.
Thx

I find that PS $100 CC freerolls play much like a 25-50 cent MTT and the $300 freerolls play more like a $1-2 MTT. The $750-1000 freerolls for platinum members that don't get pw leaked play like $5 MTTs.

low-limit games are very dangerous because everyone can go All-in with any card and beat you so you need to be careful with such players and stay away from them at the beginning of the tournament and only play with a strong hand in the middle of the game and you will be able to play normally at the beginning of the tournament there are a lot of such players because they come for fun:D

Maybe I would not be that specific about it, but I agree, that the CC platinum freerolls play fairly similar to microstakes (<$5) MTTs.

The strategies you use in the freerolls will transfer over to the micros- there will be wild players but fewer
Players still call too much and therefore you will still bluff much less often- standard bluff % on river might be 66% value to 33% bluff - GTO- you can adjust 85% value-

Expect to go multiway but not 4 way that often- You still do not need to be balanced GTO wise so if you study it you can remove the bottom of range 3 bet bluffs etc

I think it depends if it's a regular MTT or KO tournament. KO tournaments are crazy no matter the buy in. About the regular tournaments, I don't if you are comparing with the private CC freerolls or with the open freerolls. I usually play $2.20-$5.50 MTTs and I think the level is very similar with the silver/platinum freerolls.

Mostly the platinum as the other 2 there’s a noticeable difference. Was more in reference to regular in general, I know KO and bounty can be a bit wild simply because of the added incentive lol thanks for the reply, appreciated!

I lost with a set made on the turner to a set made on the river , a single hand after you went down , I was between you and @Gritz18 .. lol

Yea yesterday was a rough one lol I had a good stack before I got switched to your table, had top pair top kicker and lost to a guy chasing a straight, they ended up catching a flush on turn and river, that last hand at your table would have gotten both of us all in regardless if I went all in pre flop or not, A on flop then A on turn, I had AQs they had AKs lol love this game!!

Very loose aggressive players swinging their stacks around. Best to enter later and get the more experienced players.
