Yes it is indeed achievable!
This is how much I’ve made from freerolls on WPT!
Planning to use this money to enter a suitable tournament and carry the momentum forward!
Hoping for the best! 🤞🏼

I started out playing only freerolls, without a doubt it's one of the best ways to begin, besides winning for free you also learn the basics of poker.

Yes you can,
Find a site you like that has loads of freerolls.
Set yourself a target to get from freerolls say $10,$20 or $50 or more.
Once you reach your target use a Bankroll management plan like no more than 2% of your bankroll for tourneys or sit and goes and no more than 5% for cash games (if you like them).

As your bankroll goes up you can play in high stakes game BUT as your bankroll goes down you need to play lower stakes game until your bankroll start to grow again.

It's very hard I think if you don't have a lot of skill , and players at the micros or nano stakes are very aggressive , crazy . At freerolls ots even worse . Most freeroll players play very loose because they have not payed a dime for the tourney . Especially if the prizepool is big like in special freerolls .

A bankroll is an amount of money, that protect a winning player from going broke due to short term variance. So in order to even begin thinking about having a bankroll, you first need to be a winning player, which require study and practice. And while playing freerolls does obviously give some practice, its far from ideal, because people play very differently in most freerolls, and you are also a slave to the freeroll schedule. You cant just sit down and play for 2-3 hours, whenever you have time.

So while it might be possible to eventually reach stakes, where real money is at stake, without ever depositing a single dollar, the real question is, why on earth would you want to do that? You are just making your chance of success way smaller, than if you start with even just a small deposit of $50-100 and then go from there. And if its a question of finding those $50-100, then for sure there are much faster ways to do that than spending endless hours grinding for pennies in freerolls.

So the much more relevant question to ask is the following: "Can you create a bankroll by working at McDonalds". And the answer to that is absolutely yes. Its definitely possible to earn $50-100 working at McDonalds, deposit it to a poker site, start playing either 2NL cash games or $1 tournaments, and then go from there. And this is a far more efficient use of time than playing freerolls.

It depends on what you would consider a bankroll
If you are aiming for low figures ($10 to $20) yes, it is entirely possible.
Building a higher figure bankroll however, it might be but chances are low

Hello everyone, in response to your question - yes, it is possible. Some have tried to understand what limits you want to set or what sizes you need this for - to be able to later output something for needs or to grow further within the limits. But the answer is - yes, it is possible, it is a lengthy process, and you need to set specific long-term and short-term goals! Everything is in your hands, learn, play, learn again - and everything will be fine! Good luck at the tables!

Yes you can and like other members said - 888poker is the best online poker room to start as they offer lots of freerolls every day and (IMO) the field is weak... we also have a private community game every day on 888 and the CC freerolls are also a great way to boost your bankroll- you can check the calendar here and open accounts on the rooms that are available in your country: https://www.casino.us/cardschat/events/

I also recommend watching videos from Jonathan Little( https://www.youtube.com/@PokerCoaching/playlists ) as he's one of the best coaches out there, especially for low stakes, while also having a lot of free material posted on YT over the years...

GLGL everyone with your poker projects in 2026 💰💸

Yes, you can. It's easy.
All you need to do is become a platinum member of the CardsChat freeroll club and play in all the freerolls available to you. You don't have to spend any money on the game, just play in the freerolls. This way, in 4-6 months, you will have a fairly decent bankroll.

I think most of us in the community do this all the time. Building a bankroll by playing freerolls is entirely possible if you are willing to work at it and have enough time.

You're wrong. I've been playing poker for over 6 years, and I can tell you for sure that 4-5 years ago there were two or even three times as many freerolls. And that was literally on all poker sites. Now there are significantly fewer of them.

I believe it depends on the size of your bankroll. But you can definitely win a good amount of money in the freerolls on various poker gaming sites.

Yes, it’s possible, but it takes time and discipline.Play only freerolls at first, cash out small wins, move up very slowly, and protect your bankroll.
Also: focus on MTT basics, avoid tilt, don’t chase losses, and reinvest profits only when you’re comfortable losing them.

It's hard work, but there are good CC freerolls on GG and 888 that you can build on, and you can also earn $10-20 a month from GG's free daily tickets if you take advantage of them every day.

Yes — it is possible to build a bankroll starting from freerolls, but it takes patience and discipline.
Freerolls won’t make you rich, but they can teach solid fundamentals, bankroll management, and mental toughness. The key is to grind consistently, avoid moving up too fast, and treat every dollar won as real money.
