whereas I read it as:

"Make a 1/2 pot bet people,
What's not calling a river shove that is calling a half-pot bet?"

Assuming I now understand the question right, I guess the answer depends on how highly we rate villain. The ability to lay down a second-best hand is one of the skills that distingushes player from fish.

If he is a good player, I`d think he might well fold AQ, for example.
