bluffing online in low stakes?

in .10/25c do you guys see alot of big bluffs or are u guys seeing alot of regulars just calling down with top pair? i get bluffs off from time to time, when the time is right, sometimes its the only way to win the pot at that exact moment, but i think you definately should be careful in low stakes when bluffing doyle once said in a friendly home game you shouldnt bluff much because people are looking for a reason to call you and a reason to get in a pot.

Bluffing is mostly done in the late stages, on the bubble, in the pre-finals you can play a million hands. But at the beginning of the tournament you need to play super tight.The bulk of players at micro limits will go to the river and we will only lose our money by playing the nuts.

Players are often less balanced at lower stakes and play a certain way that is easier to read - and they are slower to change their tendencies.

That means you have the classic mix bad of bad players: 1. passive calling stations, 2. weak-tight nits and 3. maniacs.

Bluff less against the calling stations, of course, and value bet more and thinner.

Bluff more against the weak-tight players.

When it comes to the third big category: the maniacs, you often trap them and let them bluff. Since they are loose and often have a weak range, you can sometimes bluff them or play back thinner, but if you have position and they almost always take an aggressive line, calling is often best, especially on dryer boards.

There are players who don't work hard to earn money for a living, so why wouldn't they bluff too much in a low stakes such as this. So, if you don't watch out in time, there's gonna be a time where a fool maniac looser donkey player will get all your chips.
