My favorite strategy for real money games that only works in my head is to think that I can “bully” my rivals from the screen. 😄Nameless14 said:
Sometimes I make a strong bet convinced that everyone will interpret exactly the story I want to tell and will fold right away. In my mind, it seems like a brilliant move worthy of a professional, but the reality is often different: someone pays with an unexpected hand and reminds me that other players cannot read my thoughts.
Luckily, poker is also about learning from those ideas and adjusting strategy. Sometimes it works and I feel like a genius; other times, it just gives me a good anecdote to tell on the forum.
