Hello Poker enthusiasts!
I play poker often and was thinking, how can I improve and what can I do about it and one very discussed topic amongst professionals and casual players is GTO, when to use it and how to use it. I decided to make this thread for pooling what people have found genuinely useful vs. what’s a waste of time or bankroll.
Let me know your opinion about these points:
• What GTO concepts translate to real tables vs. what only works in a vacuum against another solver
• Solvers/tools people rate (and ones that overpromise)
• Courses, coaches, or communities that actually taught you something vs. ones that just sold you a subscription
• Where GTO breaks down against exploitable opponents — how much you should even be leaning on it at low/mid stakes
Drop your experience — what clicked, what didn’t, and what you wish someone told you before you spent money on it.
