Some players like to leave the table after they double up, while others keep playing to maximize profit.

What do you usually do after a big win in cash games?

I finish the game when I win or lose as much as I set before the game.

For me it’s not about doubling up, it’s about how good the game still is. If the table is soft and I still have an edge, I think leaving just because you doubled up is a mistake.

However, if I feel my mindset changing (getting overconfident or playing looser), then it can be a good idea to leave and reset.

So I don’t base the decision on the result, but on my mental state and table quality.

In my case, yes. If I'm capable of doubling my tokens, I happy.

I always take the money out from Cash games when I dobled up my win, and come straight or after the hour back again with the initial amount.
That way, I can't br called all in with too many blinds and loose everything again.

The easy way to look at is -do you think you have an edge and do you want to keep playing?

If you answer no to either stop playing.

After a big win in a cash game, I usually focus on my mental state, not just the amount of money on the table.
If I feel calm, keep making good decisions, and the table is still profitable, I continue playing and try to take advantage of the good situation.
But if after a big pot I start relaxing too much, becoming overconfident, or наоборот, getting afraid of losing the profit, then it’s better for me to take a break or leave the table.
For me, the main thing is not the fact that I doubled up, but the quality of my game and control over my emotions.

You should only walk away if something changes. You get tired, weak players leave, etc. Why leave when u are winning?
