That sucks Logan - def take it easy.

And guys, I know the graphs are pretty, but it is 2nl. Theoretically speaking, any player's graph at 2nl will be "prettier" than at 25nl or w/e :D Anyway glad you guys are having fun with the challenge.

Took a shot in a $50+$5 tourney today. Took roughly 270/1,300 where 180 cashed. Was pretty frustrating when I jammed A8o with 10 bigs into KK AND AA. Then followed it up with my worst cash session in a while. But roll is still very healthy, even compared to looking at just a week or two ago, so I'm feeling good, playing good, and I know the running good will come as it will.

Shitcakes Logan, look after yourself man... !

Totally agree Matt, I've been advocating 4 tabling since forever, but most people just carry on treading water while gettkng in the volume and rakeback - which will usually never make up for the WR and improvements in your game you can make by having more time to focus on playing well.

And yeah Scourrge, you're right. People often go on about the high variance of the micros because of all the maniacs and stations. Obv, the opposite is true.

Great times I might be a house husband in a year to look after the kiddies while my wife makes a lot of money from her business.. Hopefully i'll take full use of the time and work even harder on my game because I must succeed in poker :)... still winning 2nl but putting in the masses will definetly help me work on leaks and moving up the next level which is 4nl :)

Will have a lot of time where I can purely focus and not be distracted.

Done about 3.5k hands, think the WR is about 22BB/100 so far. Not a patch on yours and Neil's but there are still 1.5k hands to go! Need to find me some more maniacs, I'm playing 12-14 tables so my table selection is virtually non-existant.

I noticed that PT4 is in BB/100 and HEM2 is in bb/100, but based on yours and Neil's $ won they in fact seem to be the same thing

Nice graphs guys! :adore:

Although I wasn't involved in the challenge thought I'd post my own 2nl 5k hands so you can laugh at me. I know I'm not as good as you guys but shouldn't that mean the poker gods should look at me favourably and help me with a bit of luck? The other reason I'm posting this is that if posting rungood graphs result in runbad I'm hoping this graph will bring me some much needed luck. :)

2nl runbad

Hopefully! ;)

This graph was only from the last week or so. You might have seen me at 5nl before that. I was actually playing 10nl until suffering some even worse runbad there. Was 15bi's under EV. So I moved down to try and plug my leaks. My BR is decimated. :D

I think my play has improved but am gonna stay at 2nl/5nl for a while until I do better. My BR is now about £250 so I'm easily rolled for 2/5nl which should stop me tilting and give me a chance to try different things.

How are things going with you? Thought you had moved up from 5nl.

My roll is about $285 right now. I'm still playing 5nl, going to build the roll up a bit more before trying 10nl again as having too few BI for a level usually tilts me and I want to avoid that at all cost!

Having an EV line like that is so sexy. I remember when my EV line was like +20 BI above my green line, it was proper attractive.

You should feel good that you are running so bad and still capable of crushing it. Post some hands that you struggled with, if there is any.

Seems like everyone has been doing well recently. Makes a pleasant change.

Haha! I will try to look at it positively.

I haven't really come across any tricky spots at 2nl. It's just a case of me being coolered or getting the money in good and losing. The fish are getting their money in bad against me SO much. If my hands would just hold up more, everything would be fine and dandy. :)

Fwiw, all numbers in PT4 are in big blinds/100 (bb/100), but they use the notation BB/100 for some reason. Probably to keep the notation consistent with PT3. But I find it frustrating as well.

BR nit indeed

Micro, are you just worried about tilting if you lose like X% of your BR in a session?

I just want to make sure that if I have to move down to 5 again I still have 50+ buy-ins so I can mass multi-table and buy in deep if I want to and be totally comfortable.

Will take a 5 buy-in shot at 10nl when I get up to $300 I think.

giving 25NL Zoom a shot. Once midterms and rugbys over I think Im going to start a new thread up and get some progress going. I've been stuck for too long and not getting enough volume.

I mean. Again, I just highly doubt you need 50 BI's to be okay at 5nl, even multi-tabling quite a bit. Plus as has been stated over and over recently, the fastest way to improvement is more active volume - not playing tons of tables, but that's partially personal preference too.

But mathematically, you needn't worry with like 30 BI's at a limit that you have a positive WR at (so long as there is another limit to move down to). If it's about tilt then fine, but imo you're limiting yourself by requiring such a deep BR.
