Donk Bets...
What do they usually mean from fish??
Happened so often the session I just had. I would be PFR and every flop I would get donked into. I usually just re raised them and they would fold (easy money)
but what does a donk bet usually mean?
Sad attempt at a bluff and steal the pot or weak mid pair or something?
depends on size and the board. I raise like almost all donk bets that at like 1/3-1/2 pot because its usually air. If its like 1/2 on a J98ss board and I have a piece of the flop Im probs just calling.

**** me i don't know donk bets make me do bat shit crazy stuff. Normally small donk bets mean small to mid pair/draw of some kind. Mid size donk bets mean????? ~ pot size top pair/set/good draw/two pair.
Ehhh... I prob just flat the villain's 3bet OTF unless you know he limp-calls TT/JJ or will go crazy with Ac9x or something in this spot. Preflop stats don't tell you everything, plus small sample, but he seems like he's shaping up to be quite passive, and FDs never ever min 3bet here.
The other thing is that if you have a read and thin that his min3bet/min5bet line doesn't have you crushed, then just play to GII. Further bets beyond 5bet won't change his range that much imo. But the minbet/min3bet/min5bet looks uber-strong to me. Classic raise trying to get more money in but not scare away. Looks like a set or some weird-ass two pair on the flop.
OTT I would have expected him to lead out or x/r all in, so no clue what he's doing. Ac9x might x/c here and then lead river, but honestly the turn and river play confounds me.

His. My gut is telling me that my read is actually not valid because what he's doing is so out there that conventional hand reading probably isn't gonna help much.

That is probably the most confusing hand I have ever seen....
push the flop and cross your fingers??? thats about the best idea I can come up with haha
Ovbiously I am light 4 betting here as I didn't think villain would call without very premium hands. I called the river as I don't see any 5's in his hand here and it looks like a bluff as if he had the 5 I think he would bet smaller for value against my overpair type hands.
Stats 27/24/2.8 3bet % 12.5

hate the first hand man unless youve seen him shove 200bbs with complete air. I dont get it.
I think you played hand 2 awesome. Doubt he ever has a 5 like you said and cant see him 3-bet/call with small PPs. nh wp
Hand 3 - think you played it fine. when you 3-bet you have to cbet that board. im almost incline to barrel the turn as well cuase if he has like AJ/AQ he has to fold the turn. any f3bet stats?

Hand 1 isn't a cooler.
Hand 3 why aren't we calling river?

Btw hand 1 is a complete cooler, the BB guy shoved the past 5 hands and turned over 7/5 offsuit, just lame that the guy behind me had A/A. (don't know why it doesn't show that he had 7/5o in the hand because he did.
Hand 3 I didn't have many stats on him I don't think but he did seem like a good player. The reason I didn't call the river is because what can we beat? we tie with A/K and lose to all two pairs/sets/straights that he can have. Also it's not a weakish bet either, 2/3 of the pot looks like a value bet. If he has K/10 or A/Q type hands I don't think he would bet that much on the river. Just my thought. I don't know why he checked back the turn though.
Also he did call our 3 bet OOP, so I think the only reasonable hand that he can have here that takes this line that doesn't beat us is A/K or A/Q (maybe).

Well if he's shoving everything then obv it's a call, I just hadn't spotted where you said that.

, sad to hear it, maybe you could post quite a few hands on here and see what's going wrong after your break? If we can work on one flaw at a time, the major flaws first then minor then it would surely help, just a thought, I know it may seem like nothing can help but if you keep trying one day it is inevitable that you will be able to beat 10nl. Or even post a video of your session here, I am sure that this would help the most as it helps more than single hands historys as we can see what cards you are playing from position, your steals etc.
On a side note I have moved up from 10nl 6 max 100bb's deep to 6max 10nl 250 BB's deep (ante's also) and I have been crushing them (I have been running good, with no suckouts yet), deep stack poker seems to have a ton of fish with so much dead money behind them. Also I just made a video on my poker session, will upload it soon, I find that being able to talk and hear my own thought process and thinking clearly before clicking any buttons really helps even though I timed out a couple of times on tables .
