Playing around in stove and this is pretty much my open range UTG, can I go wider than this in general?

Yes, way wider, especially if you're table selecting well.

Its weird, because my normal sessional vpip is like 20~ but then I have other sessions where I must be super card dead or something and finish at 15~, those sessions must be dragging down the average I guess??

Lolololol vpip depending on your cards... (I play bad.)

Just starting (like 10 minutes into your video and noticed a few things)

1stly it is quiet as anything ha, had to turn my speakers right up

2nd off you are saying what you are doing but now why, ie im going to cbet this board because its good, explain why its good ie hits our range doesnt hit his we can rep the A blah blah blah :)

Doesnt bother me but the tables are kinda small which could mean people cant see whats going on and dont watch.

When i get through it ill give some more feedback if you want it :) but this is just the 1st 10 mins

Also why play 10nl deep and not 25nl?

K ty for watching :), ye the quality will be much better next time because it is irritating watching a video when you can't see the bet sizing and I will turn mic volume up as well. Also I find that deep is easier than 100bb game, I was doing okay at 10nl but not crushing them like this, maybe my game has improved lately idk.

Definitely open K/Qo and A/To UTG. For the other hands I also open K/Jo, A/9o, A/8s, Q/Js and K/10s.

However I do play deep stack and want to play as many good hands with the fish as possible, especially with antes as I hope to stack them. When it gets to the cut off I am opening all Middle suited connectors and most High cards/Medium kickers+. e.g. K/7

Just looked at my positional stats for 50NL (i.e. when I'm not tarding it up at 10NL on ipoker lol) and for EP it says, VPIP=17.1, PFR=17.1 and 3bet=na.

So fess up Peelie, you been limping in with The Aces amirite? :D

lol, I just looked through those hands to find out wtf thats all about, its because I have some FR hands played at the start of Jan, I 3bet AK from UTG+1 and its counted as EP I guess :)

I think I've made myself look like a fish here, if there are tards in the blinds then I'll try to iso them as wide as I would normally, given semi-sensible players to my left, like I do vary my opens depending on the table, or at least try to, maybe I need to make a it a point in a few sessions to really concentrate on the table when in EP

Nah, you're showing a positive winrate, which is more than most.

Nah, you're showing a positive winrate, which is more than most.

Saw a statistic saying that around 95% of poker players lose and that if your winrate is above 0 you should be pleased. Much higher than I expected.

I'd say it depends a TON on the rake and the limit. This is a constant-sum game, so it's more a question of do a very few players "win big" or is it more spread.

But I'd estimate anywhere from 75 - 95% are losers in most instances.

Glad I'm at least not alone!! :D

^^ Wow you too!! (For those that dont know, I won the other copy)

I am in exactly the same situation lol except I do have an old PC laptop and I was thinking of loading all my hands onto that. But I considered/am considering selling too. Is yours the PT3 or the Hem version Pocketehs?

Yeah mine too :) Was thinking if they were different we'd be able to sell more easily.

It's annoying that there isnt a Mac version, I can't get pokerstove either. Got an App called PokerZebra that works out equity, but it can't do the nice ranges charts like Peels posted above :(

I don't know, I gave one of you two cheeky ****ers that copy and now you're looking to make money from my kindness... what an outrage!!! :D

In other news, I don't think I've been called as many names or had my playing ability questioned quite as much as while playing on these 4NL tables.

Will keep the microcrushers updated on my progress. Wish me luck at least you cheapskates!!!

Um, says the 50nl player crushing 4nl

Good luck man, how far are you going to go with your Turbopoker challenge? You'll be up to 25nl in about a week at this rate :)
