I would actually like to look at my apparent recent poor running on the ipoker site and make sure it is just bad running. There was definitely a bit of tilt on that site as every fish just seemed to hit their hand repeatedly for a couple of weeks..Thankfully a bit of decent running on Pstars has me on a small profit.

Maybe just a bad run, similar to my old PLO stats Id be ok on one site anfd totally differetn on another same when i played Zoom

Ok, well we can do mostly database review. We'll set something up for next week and see what we can find that will help.

Too big of a gap in your VPIP/PFR and you're not being aggressive enough. So you're calling too much pre-flop, and calling too much post flop. Easy fixes, but you're going to have to make a lot of changes in your game.

although looked at stats since i started again and similar story not aggressive enough post flop when i though i was, admittedly not enoug hands at 10nl 6MAx

Without looking at the spoiler I was putting him on an overpair 77-10's or any of the small pairs especially 44 55 which are not going away here
I would have expected JJ+ to raise preflop. Make a note that he flats KK for the future.
I would have bet 70% min as a cbet and if called you then reach small hand small pot scenario. The 5 won't change things too much so he he called the flop he is probably calling the turn as well, so I wouldn't have bet that turn. If an ace or K had come you could try to rep that on the turn but not here with a 5,
There are so many hands that beat you you cannot call this river.

re your 6 max stats, I would guess you aren't raising with your decent equity draws

Would definitley have gone for value, especially as he checked - so many raggy aces in his range and KQ, KJ, KT as their was no raise preflop

Thanks for the insight into the hand, I never put him on KK, thought the had 2 overs and possibly a flush draw so was floating me and when the backdoor flush came in I thought he was trying to represent the flush

I definitely agree with the Cbet being way too small and 70% as you say a better option.

Actualy surprised my aggression is too low as I do tend to bluff. Which figure should i be looking at, the Agg or Agg% and what should they ideally be

and look at your win rate....

your ideal 3 bet% is around 6-8% so its getting a little high. You may find regs start to 4 bet you lighter when your 3bet% gets above 10. (I certainly would)
John A previously posted about using agg% as opposed to Agg factor as part of his hitman hud set up as it is simply a better indicator of overall aggression. I seem to remember between 30-40 agg% is the desired range. If you are using agg factor you want it over 2.

Top line: VPIP (29) / PFR (16) / Post Flop Agg% (38)
Second line: 3-bet% (4.0) / Fold to 3-bet% (48) / Continuation Bet% (70) / Fold to Continuation Bet% (46)
Third line: EP PFR% (9) / MP PFR% (6) / WWSF% (45) / Total Hands (19k)

Red = Tight Player / Orange = Regular / Yellow = LAG / Green = Fish

Should the aggression increase slowly as the stakes get higher then peak at a certain level or even peak at a lower stake then lower slightly at higher levels

No agg levels vary against each player profile not per stakes

Sticky fish/calling stations we don't bluff just bet for value.
The time to turn the agg is against players who bet hard on the flop but have a low overall aggression ie preflop regs and one cbet and done types who have less skill on turn and river

Hey John I've got a question about multi tabling. In your book you state you started playing poker in 2004. Did you start out playing multiple tables? Do you now? Do you have any recommendations?

Also how was Vegas? Did you get a chance to play much while you were there?

These are a good combo of stats to use to player profile people quickly. If you have a lot of regs you play a lot, you can add a few more things, but really you don't need much more than this imho.

Trying to think back. I believe I only played 2 tables at a time at first until I got comfortable with how to play. Mostly I played 6-8 through my career because of my playing style. I play a little looser and more aggressive than a lot of players so I'm involved a bit more than a TAG who can play 10+ tables. I find my play drops off too much after that many tables.

My recommendation is just add tables until you realize it's causing you problems with your decisions and timing. You'll know when you hit that point.

I just went to Vegas for a few days for business. I tried to see if I could squeeze a tournament in, but it didn't happen. I haven't played the wsop or other events over there in a couple of years. I don't consider myself a tournament player any way. I have a pretty good ROI when I do, but I just don't like tournaments honestly. They bore me to death if I'm being honest.

I like being creative, having a lot of options and plays to do, and I don't like getting stuck into push or fold / call poker which is what tournaments evolve into. To each their own.

Thanks, just uploaded the LB6Max Hud and made couple of minor changes will try for a bit

although not sure what the significance of W$WSF i know its for Won $ when saw flop but what figure should i be looking for myself and what for opponents to exploit

Also never used the Rasied PF early and MP im assuming that is just to show their positional knowledge and if they are really strong if 4% and PFR is about 18%

My previous one I had Steal and Fold to Steal and recently added the aggression for each street

Here's one of those hands that gets me in trouble. I wasn't sure what to do on the river. Do I bet here should I have checked? With stack sizes the way they were I couldn't really put out a small bet because IMO it would have looked too weak. Villain to my right had just been stacked by villain to my left so I felt he was tilting a bit on his hand.
