For me, I am not too familiar with this kind of position thinking mostly about my syack and no other one, Sorry.

Position doesn't really matter to me. The dealer deals the cards.

Position has a huge influence on my cash-game strategy. I’m much more willing to play marginal hands in late position, while I’m more cautious from early position. Being in position also makes post-flop decisions much easier, especially when controlling the pot or applying pressure.

It matters alot - as it gives you an advantage when you are on certain position like if you are late position, you get to see all the other players raise, call or fold before you get to act - giving you a better understanding of what's going on in that round. And if you are in an early position you will know which hands to fold or raise depending on what you have... SO yes Position matters...
