Run it twice button Online. Not good enough?

The value from running it twice comes from reducing varience without effecting EV so it's a great options for high stakes all in situations. It does however come with the consequence of often leading to chopped pots which are just unsatisfying.

When playing live you have the option of running it as many times as is reasonable. Running it 3 times is great because there is less opportunity for a chop, there is a further reduction in variance and the sweat goes on for longer. equity nerd version of me is happy and so is the fighter who 'wants blood' at the table and for there to be a winner and a loser and not a boring chop.

However this isn't really an option online from what I've seen in most rooms. I think its annoying but I'm curious to see if most people care or not.

I think we should play the game without the junk oppions.

It would slow down the game, if players had to agree about multible options. As it is, most players have selected “always run it twice” or “never run it twice”, so there is no delay.

Have you imagined a MTT with run it twice in a All In Situations?

I never double-bet. As someone already wrote: there has to be a winner and a loser, and doing that is just begging for a handout or a consolation prize.

Don't care cause I'm not even running it twice. Same as I'm never taking the cash out option. Both checked to be turned off.

well ill do cash out (as i play plo and anything can happen/change very quickly) depends on the hands and board. but run twice. never! If i wanted to put all my money in the middle, i am committed to it. win or lose that's my bad if i made a mistake. own it. 👌🏻

should have up to 3 times and if both agree why not let they run up to 3 times

i always run it once and live with the results.

I don't like running twice a hand , I ve never done it (I think) , but live I[ might be differently from online situations. It's not for the| weak and neither it's all we need . Some people like it , maybe in specific situations , to lower variance or whatever .

You know you lose money every time you use the ev cashout function right? The house charges a fee for that.

I think twice is enough. It helps reduce variance without changing the overall EV, and adding more run-it options just slows the game down. If both players agree to run it twice, I'm all for it.
