Lately, I’ve been focusing on making small, disciplined adjustments instead of trying to completely change my game overnight. Things like folding more in marginal spots, paying closer attention to position, and avoiding unnecessary bluffs against calling stations have made a noticeable difference.
One thing I realized is that consistency beats creativity in the long run. You don’t need to make flashy plays to win — just solid decisions repeated over time.
What’s one small adjustment that improved your results recently?

One of the biggest “small adjustments” that tends to pay off for a lot of players is tightening up calling ranges in marginal spots, especially out of position.
It doesn’t look dramatic at all, but it quietly reduces a lot of negative EV situations: thin bluff-catches against opponents who don’t bluff enough, dominated top-pair situations, and multi-street spots where you’re guessing.
The interesting part is that once you cut those marginal calls, your overall winrate often improves even if your “big winning pots” don’t increase much. You just stop bleeding in the background.
If I had to frame it the same way you did: instead of trying to “win more hands,” it’s more about losing less in repeatable, low-quality spots.
