Yeah, maybe mysterious to me only ;).

Since we've been diving into casino games lately, I thought this is my chance to learn a game I have no idea about.
And what better place than CC combined with casino.us?

Ok guys, please someone explain the game here. Just the basic rules and how it's played. Thank you.

The game that's still a "mystery" to me is: baccarat.

Well it's a 2 card game where the object is to get a total of 9, it's much simpler to learn

than blackjack, you place your bets prior to the deal on player, banker or tie

.. hint it's rarely a tie and the banker has a 1% edge so bet wisely,

the hand closest to 9 wins... hopefully it's the hand you bet on👍

Thank you, man. Not as complicated as I thought.
But somehow, I always thought it's one of those East Asian games.

See baccarat as roulette but with only three options: red, black, and green. Black is player, red is banker, and green is tie. The odds differ a bit, but you get the main idea

I have my own version of "Baccarat", and yes sir, it is mysterious ;)
This is what comes to my mind when I hear that name :LOL:

I like this analogy; it really describes it nicely, though I have to try the game in order to grab the meaning.
I bet I'll have the chance soon in one of the "Casino Scavenger Hunt Special" tasks.

It has some similarities with Blackjack, requires you to collect a certain number of points. Unlike poker, the game is more random and unpredictable, you can win it without having experience, bluffing and mathematical calculations of probabilities are excluded.Each player and the dealer receive two cards. Depending on the number of points, one more card may be added to them. The main goal is to get 9 points or more than the dealer.

Definitely a way to learn new games for sure. Not sure I will put it to use but it's always good to keep learning and growing. And what a fun way to do it.
