Hello folks, as you know sometimes casino games tend to be very addictive, and some players could lose a lot of money, what advice would you give to a person who is addicted to casino games.

The advice i would have for such an addicted person who lost lots of money in the casino would be "dont go to the casino".

gambling addiction is a real problem—, I’d say it’s even more serious than other addictions like alcohol or drugs (financially speaking). I know people who can blow their entire paycheck in a single night without even realizing it—it’s as if they’re in a trance in front of the machines—and I think online casinos make it much more dangerous for them. (I know a guy who committed suicide after losing everything he had online.) I’m always trying to raise awareness—especially among young people—about the need to be careful with this; some casinos try to limit the issue, but most of them couldn't care less. The best advice is this: if you realize you can't control yourself when it comes to gambling, don't deny that you have a problem—get help.

i say just walk away .....then find another hobby that's more productive ( chess , tennis , bike riding , gardening , backpacking ,surfing, etc ?)

If someone is a real addict, a real degenerate gambler like they say, I honestly don't think that there's any advice out there that could be effective.
The best and only thing to do is get professional help.

You probably aren't addicted to the casino- you're addicted to distraction and the casino is one of the most powerful ones. You're not broken and everyone has the ability to heal and grow.

EMDR can be pretty life changing if you find a good practitioner.

I think the first step is admitting there’s a problem.
After that, taking a break and getting some support can make a big difference.
Trying to handle it alone seems pretty tough.

The only advice to give in such a case is to seek help from a qualified specialist. This is not a problem that a compulsive gambler can resolve on their own.
