Personally, I’m a big fan of blackjack. There's just something way more satisfying about having full control over your own hand—deciding whether to hit or stand based on your strategy, rather than letting fixed table rules do the work for you.
What about you guys? Which side are you on?
 
I'm more into poker, especially Texas Hold'em. ♠️ I enjoy the strategy, reading opponents, and making decisions based on the situation. I like that every hand can be different, and there's always something new to learn. Blackjack is interesting too, but poker is my favorite!
 
Well which is more profitable or satisfying are two entirely different questions,

they're pretty equal odds wise, ...you do need to know the game in blackjack more,

For me, it’s blackjack, because there’s at least some element of strategy—like card counting and the option to double down—whereas baccarat is pure luck.

Isn't it true that if you were caught counting cards in an offline casino while playing blackjack, you would be blacklisted by the casino?
 
You mentioned enjoying the control you get in blackjack. But if your goal is actually making a profit, wouldn’t the house edge and table rules matter more than how much control you feel you have?

For me, in blackjack, there is a card counting strategy that cannot be used when playing baccarat. So, if I control the game, I know when to take an extra card (hit) or stop (stand), and I can raise or lower the bet based on the number of cards I remember. This is the method I usually use when playing at live casinos.
