what’s your bankroll strategy..? It’s the only way I’ve been able to make money. Doesn’t really work well with parlays but straight bets are money.

For sports betting imo it should be very conservative, but exact stake as % of bank depends on the srtike rate. And no loss chasing.

I agree! I wager 3% of my bankroll and hit about 65% winners, it’s not life changing but profit is profit

Best bankroll management is just double your bankroll and stop playing. And set a new goal or start over with the same

I have different bankroll management systems for betting, slots, and poker. In poker, I have a limit of no more than 3% of my bankroll per session. In slots, I clearly allocate an amount for the game, and the entire amount is 100% of my limit for the evening. In betting, I do not exceed 10% of my bankroll per session.

In games where the house has an edge, I think you should really look at it as budgeting entertainment expense.

You can't really do bankroll management in games where you are a long term loser.

Yes I agree on that and I think bankroll management largely belongs to games like poker where there is an actual edge to be gain.

Limiting winnings, avoiding loss recovery, setting a fixed budget, and separating gambling money from personal money.

20% of my bankroll is my limit. I usually bet on weekends. I bet on single events. Express bets spoil my statistics.

All gambling game the house has an edge therefore the majority are long term losers, a good bankroll strategy keeps the fun/game going for longer.

If you start by playing free games (and not depositing your own money) you can build a bankroll for free over time and then start using a good bankroll strategy.

There are days and events when I am more than confident in the results, and on such days I can risk even 20% or 30% of my bankroll. But this happens less than 1-2 times per quarter.

I’m going to laugh so hard HAHA! when you retire HAHA! If you actually contributed, then fine — but if you didn’t, you’ll be doing this: HAHA!

Without bankroll management, a player has no chance. I think the optimal amount is 5-10% of the bankroll. Anything beyond this limit can be considered an unjustified risk. I think the deposit for betting should be at least $2,000. Anything less than that is just working on statistics.

I think the best players in this field will be those who are constantly learning, analysing and applying new technologies. Now, in the age of AI, analysing sporting events has become much easier, and this field has long been of great interest to me. I’m thinking of starting to work in this area.
