Is bankroll management even possible in casino games?

coming from poker it's definitely a mindset shift. in poker BRM protects your skill edge, but against negative EV casino games, BRM is basically just loss control and session duration control. i treat it strictly as entertainment money bring a fixed buy in, if i double up i pocket the original buy in, and if i bust the session, I'm done. trying to treat negative EV games like a poker bankroll is a trap.

In poker its much easier to build a bankroll and keep it healthy , maintain it , have control over it . In casino this is very hard to accomplish . Casino games want you to bet more and more , in no time you can lose control , lose a lot of money

I think you can use the same basic idea, just with a fixed budget and stop-loss for each session

Is there a bankroll management system for the casino like there is for poker, or do you just play it by feel?
In tournament poker (MTTs), bankroll management protects you from severe variance and keeps you solvent during long downswings: as a rule of thumb, maintain at least 150 to 300 buy-ins for your average stake (ABI)—scaling toward the higher end for large-field or high-variance formats like PKO and Mystery Bounty—move down in stakes immediately if you hit a preset stop-loss of 20–30% of your total funds, and keep your poker bankroll strictly separate from your personal life expenses.

bankroll management is entirely possible in casino games, but its purpose is not to beat the house edge, but rather to control risk and protect your finances.
You could probably use the same system as in poker—using 1%.

it is possible when you think of a number that you can allow yourself to lose in each session and then stick to it...
