Hello folks, do you think that Las Vegas has the best casinos, or there are other cities that are better than Las Vegas, such as Macau, in movies, Las Vegas is always mentioned as the best place to have fun and where the best entertainment is.

I think there are many wonderful casinos in cities across the globe, but it is difficult to single out the best one, as each has its own unique features and advantages. Let’s just say there are certainly 10 to 20 top-tier establishments, and each of them excels in its own way.

I was in Las Vegas 2 weeks ago . Good deals are few and far between . Even great casinos from the past like MGM Grand are just money traps with bad value . It was hard to find a poker game where the house wasn't raking a huge amount ( three different poker rooms I played in were putting up to 8 bucks a pot into the slot !).

It depends what you are looking for, the comps aren't the best, the games aren't the best, the restaurants and rooms are pretty good.

Can't really give my opinion on this as I was only once in Las Vegas by now and it was not comparable with the small casinos that i visited elsewhere.

Las Vegas probably has the most casinos in one area and some very fancy places, but I think
Macau and many others are fancier, and Reno always had better odds to draw people away from Vegas.

By the way, what do you mean by “the best casino”? What makes a casino good? Is it that it’s exclusive, elegant, or that your chances of winning are better—or what is the best definition of a casino?

Vegas has the reputation, but I think Macau deserves a mention too. It really depends on whether you value the gaming experience, luxury, or variety.
