The golden rule of blackjack is to always assume the dealer's face-down card is a 10. Because 10-value cards (10, Jack, Queen, King) make up nearly 31% of a standard deck, this mathematical assumption drives the core logic behind basic strategy for hitting, standing, and doubling down.

We have a very detailed learning series that will help you better master the game. You might be interested in it.

Always assume that ur gonna lose long term 🙂

An interesting rule. It can probably give us a certain effect. But to say for sure, you need to try everything yourself.

with black jack you cant loose 10 x in a row. with poker you can loose 20 buy ins easily before any profit

I’ve always found the “assume a 10” rule pretty useful when learning blackjack. It makes the dealer’s upcard easier to evaluate, although basic strategy is still more precise for each situation.
