Hello casino players, what do you think about the casino strategy, is it correct or are there different techniques that make the player return to bets again and again? For example, beautiful female croupiers, releasing a strong pleasant aroma, pleasant music like jazz, no windows, so you lose track of time. What do you think about this?

There are quite a few mechanisms for attracting customers. Starting from specially trained service personnel, ending with music or smells in the premises. I think that any business can take measures to increase the flow of customers if it does not contradict the law and I definitely do not consider such actions manipulation.

I've only noticed beautiful girls hosting tables in Okada Manila and City of Dreams. That alone is a factor that potentially brings back a player.

Manipulations don't concern me, because I'm not ready to spend more than $10-$20 a month on gambling anyway. Therefore, any manipulations regarding me don't really make sense 🙂

The casino does not want to single out the online game that provides the best chance of winning. That's why you don't often see promotions specifically about blackjack. casinos won't advertise that blackjack offers the best odds.In fact, there is nothing that can guarantee you a win when you play at a casino.

Me personally I have no problems with jazz music and attractive dealers as they have no influence if I come back to a place or not.

Hi! Yes, casinos use many techniques to make players stay longer and keep betting , pleasant atmosphere, friendly dealers, relaxing music, no windows or clocks, and so on. Everything is designed to keep you in the game. But if someone goes there just for fun and can afford to lose that money, then it’s fine , the important thing is to stay within your budget and treat it as entertainment, not as a way to make profit.

Yes, players try hard to impress attractive, friendly dealers! Emotions are prior to a conscious decision!

It's strange how they play the music, it really draws you in, and what they say about the windows is true, for a moment you lose track of time. Once I arrived around 2 pm and left around 10 pm, that's the longest I've ever lasted in a live tournament and in a casino.

Hi!
I think that, regardless of the marketing strategy, the goal is always to increase profits in any industry! Of course, all these features are designed to encourage more betting and more profits; bettors need to be aware of all this and decide how much time and money they can spend at a casino. It seems simple, obvious—it’s a personal choice. No one is forcing others to gamble, and the pleasant atmosphere, music, smiling staff, etc., are all part of the experience. Bettors should be aware of this and plan their entertainment accordingly, as mentioned earlier. Good luck to you!

As for pretty girls or delicious food, I personally don't mind such manipulations at all 🙂

If you follow some known rules, rules that every experienced player should know, then you can play your game and leave when is the right time!

There are marketing activities, and there are direct manipulations. These are different things, don't confuse one with the other 🙂

If a business uses customers' instincts to increase its profits, then this is definitely not manipulation. It is a normal approach to its own business.

You’ll also encounter manipulative techniques involving scents, decor, and ambiance in shopping malls, so there’s nothing surprising about this. Their job is to convince you to spend your money there and stay as long as possible, so that you make as many bad decisions as possible without even realizing it. Aside from poker, I wouldn’t even bother with other casino games in a live casino.

it used to be the free buffet thru comps, but even not they are getting harder and harder to get unless you spend big money. So nothing works for me anymore

I think that if the law is not violated, then marketing methods have the right to life.

I like beautiful women, pleasant aroma and music too, the lack of windows does not bother me at all, especially if there is money in my pockets. No matter how much the casino tries to influence me, I will spend exactly as much as I can afford 🙂

I think the casino atmosphere is perfect for people who want to get some taste of fame while enjoying themselves in a pleasant environment. It’s unlikely we’ll see a different type of casino in the near future. 🤔

Casinos are open for business, of course they will use anything possible to get people spend money in their premises. And if you call music and beautiful girls ¨¨Manipulations¨¨, what would you call the advertisement techniques used by all the companies nowadays to sell their products??

Yes agree. The things mentioned have nothing really to do with manipulation but rather with an inviting experience so people feel comfortable.

businesses want to increase profits , and surely some will try both ethical and unethical methods .

Exactly. And honestly, I don't see much unethical methods in casinos procedures. After all, when we go there, it's by our own will. Not to mention the comps offered by all of them, at least they give some back.
