Just for fun.
If I decide to spend $20 on slots, I definitely don't consider it an investment 🙂

B would be my choice.
If I go to a casino, it's not to play it safe (A), but also not to throw my money away (C).
D can be a choice also, but very rarely because B includes the fun too.

A calculated risk. I think this is the option that is closest to me.

In my experience, knowing the strategies is a plus to a basic understanding of the machines after testing them in demo mode. This makes it easier to see how quickly your bankroll is depleted at a given bet. In online casinos, it's easy to get lost in the vast selection of slots, so I prefer a more careful approach.

When I use my own money it's calculated risk and when I use some bonuses first it's definitely play it safe to get the max out of it

I play live and pretty much play it safe. Whatever I'm playing I set win/loss limits for myself. At the craps table I'll follow a basic progressive betting pattern, 1unit-2units-3units then take my profit and start over with one unit on the line and come bets.

I always try to minimize any risks. The lower the risk, the safer the game, the greater the chances of profit and enjoyment from the game.

I play for fun, but I prefer to play safely with bankroll management and minimal risk.

I think safety is always the most important thing. That's why playing safe should come first.

E. look for an edge

A special promo, a huge progressive jackpot, or a poker tourney with low rake and a bad field.

I almost always 'Play it safe ', but as TeUnit noted if freeplay promos are offered that's a pleasant benefit . Sadly ,poker tournaments with low rake are almost non existent where i play .

My priorities are gambling for fun 🙂
I often get a good profit playing purely for fun, so in my opinion this is the best approach 🙂

I think I like the option with a well-thought-out risk the most. I usually think through all the risks well, especially the risk of "lack of cold beer."

in the long run you always lose. so why not all in 3 times in a row ? if you lose . you lose anyway . if you win big you cash out

That is the best attitude in the end because as soon as you have high expectations you will also get lots of disappointments playing casino games.

I am willing to take calculated risks, but not for the thrill of it, but for the sake of profit.

Going to the casino is taking a calculated risk, but I'm playing it safe unless I am doing well
because I am there mostly for the fun 😊

I always go with an expectation to win, that's just positive thinking from me. Not being a professional gambler, it's just entertainment for me.

I’d say I’m somewhere between calculated risk and just having fun. I don’t wanna play too safe, but I also don’t wanna let the thrill make my decisions for me.
