Hello folks, poker is always associated with casino games, but I think it's a very different game from any other casino game, because in Texas Holdem poker, skill has a large percentage over chance, you think that if poker is not linked to the casino, poker wouldn't have as many restrictions as there are in some countries.

I agree! poker games are skill-based activities involving probabilities and calculations based on one's opponents, odds, position, and strategy. Although luck may be a significant factor during each hand, over thousands of rounds, the skill of one's game will substantially impact their results. I think poker should be regulated as a mind sport in several countries as a different kind of gambling. The only challenge with this approach is that governmental bodies should acknowledge the degree of skill involved in poker. ♠️💯

Poker is a game of chance - in any case. Therefore, he would be subject to restrictions in any case.

In the end poker is still played for money and there is still an element of luck in the short run. So it kind of still belongs there with the other casino games.

i cant believe fantasy league sports betting , like draft kings and fan duel , and betting on kalshi , have somehow evaded the laws in most of the United States and continue to operate , but the big international poker sites are not allowed .

Yes definitely!
But I feel, since there are cards involved in the game, it is played more often (big tournaments) in a casino or a hotel which has it’s own casino!
Playing professional live poker at some random place also takes away all the glamour and shine away from the game is what I feel personally!

As for simply playing at a casino, we're sure you've heard more than once that winning is impossible! This means your chances of making money here are simply slim.In poker, we don't play against the casino (the dealer), but against other people just like us. Therefore, everyone has an equal chance. This means that those who are mathematically and psychologically well-versed will win and consistently earn money in this popular card game. We believe no one will argue that poker is a game of skill, where luck plays a lesser role than in casino games.

Definitely poker because in poker you need to have skills and not only depends on luck and gamble and casino games like roulette, blackjack etc you need a lot of luck and luck only...

In my opinion, poker is more of a sport than a game of chance. But unfortunately, most people think otherwise.

Well, most poker sites had only poker before they implemented casino games. Could it be that the restrictions came because of the other games?

Poker demands more skill , you can control more your expenses and losses , you can become a better player and become a winner on [h| long run . Maybe the| same applies to casino blackjack or baccarat. But mostly you lose on other casino games , especially slots and roulette .

I think casino games and poker are both entertaining, but poker is more interesting to me because it involves strategy and reading other players.
Casino games are fun too when you want something simple.
I think that poker should be recognized in all countries as a mental sport, that way it would be differentiated from casino games.
An example- In Brazil, poker is recognized as a mental game and the new restrictions that have been imposed on online casinos have not affected poker games.

The vast majority of ordinary people think that poker is simply one of the ten most popular casino games, on par with roulette, blackjack, or slots. They simply fail to realize that poker is a fundamentally different game.

I think poker would still face some restrictions, but its skill element deserves more recognition. The laws can be pretty inconsistent across countries.

Yeah, I think so. Poker takes real skill, not just luck. If it wasn't linked to casinos, people might see it more as a mind sport than gambling.

I agree, but historically, one of the ways poker became known around the world was through the expansion of casinos and the legalization of Las Vegas. This was one of the major factors that led to the creation of the wsop and brought it into the global spotlight at the time.
