know it sounds clichéd, but please tell me: what is the most successful roulette system, and which one offers the best chance of winning? In other words, which system works best for you?

They are all equally likely to assist you with parting with your money, although some accelerate the process.

understand, but isn't there one that slows down this process to a lesser extent?

If we talk roulette systems you can try Martin Gale or reverse martingale but anyway it will lead to losses at some point no matter what.

No roulette system works in the long term because they can't change the house's mathematical advantage.

Not sure if there's a system that can beat the house edge in the long run. Any system needs a lucky streak to go with it.

I don't have a system for roulettes. I rarely play t this game , for very little money , just for fun . When I do I might choose my favourite number(s) or if I want to play conservatively I might choose one of the 50% or 30% options to win . But I lack of a strategic plan or method when it comes to the bets and how to manage =them .

I don’t really think there’s a system that beats roulette long term. I’d just keep the bets small and enjoy the game
