casino's ATM problem

i have never and will never withdraw money on any ATM near casino.
i always see them on the casino near slots, old machines and they are always not ur typical famous bank, its always some random branch so it can collect fees out of ur urge to gamble.
does anyone have a story similar to this ?

I have used them indeed, many times. And ofc, those fees are expected. To avoid them, and help staying committed to a predetermined amount I would be comfortable losing in any given session, I have decided a while ago to leave my cards home and only take that amount with me (cash).

My thinking is that topping up at the casino ATM, especially if you've just lost your initial bankroll is a recipe for disaster. The fees on their own are usually ridiculous, but never mind the fact that you are now risking more money than you had originally planned on spending. Come with your set bankroll, that you can afford to lose, and if that's gone, go home, even it happens quickly.

I didn't pay attention. But in my opinion, there's nothing strange in the fact that ATMs are located in places where people spend their money

nothing strange about it , but the fees are huge. you'd think casino can have like a partnership with a branch atm with 0 fees since they are gambling and most likely lose it

I dont know about at casino but i can just imagine cause even at bar they charge u crazy fees...

Those ATM practices border on being predatory .But, sadly , like high gas station prices just off the freeway that's how capitalism works .

In Ukraine, in most major banks, the withdrawal fee will be approximately the same everywhere. Therefore, it doesn't really matter which ATM I withdraw money from. The main thing is that the ATM is nearby
