Are casinos bad for cities?

casinos in the cities they can be as bad or as good as all the big enterprises there are in the cities, with the big business turnovers and the money traffic they have!

Our casino pays the city so much in taxes and pays better than most jobs, plus it hires lots of off-duty police.
We never even hear the stories of addicted gamblers losing it all or committing crimes against the big winners.
I know gambling was illegal, but they had a loophole for a while, and some machines paid vouchers and others didn't. After generating so much cash for the city and state, I think it's all good these days, and they all pay vouchers.
