street craps is the real deal. We were playing that long before ever seeing the inside of a casino, no cloth, just concrete with a wall
or something to bounce off, come on baby, three ways to make a seven, 4 and a 3, 5 and a 2, 6 and a 1, over and over.:ROFLMAO:

These days, you hear someone say we got a shooter, you better look for cover instead of in your wallet :giggle:
Yea, I remember rolling on the concrete to, man it would eat those dice pretty fast. Better have a few pair handy if you planned on playing long. It was just later on we were brainy enough to to start putting a cloth of some kind down. "Come on little Joe from Cocomo" Niner 49'er, Box cars ,snake eyes. 😂😂Everyone had a little different slang . Probably heard most of them. I went and practiced a few minutes ago and caught myself putting those old words out. Hard to forget. I would'nt play in public now. To many crazy's .Like you said, shooter would panic the game. Some fool shoot you for a five dollar Bill. Unfortunately. It was definitely fun times .

Peace
Tony

I practiced yesterday and only played the Pass, No pass. Just for fun no money involved. So I made a step toward figuring out the betting. Just unsure of the next betting I should try on betting??. BTW ,I played where I was shooter . So didn't do bets with other shooter up. I was OK at the street craps I mentioned. So I am interested in the Casino Craps.

Peace

I've played a few times. I can't say I really enjoyed it. I ran out of money before I had a chance to really enjoy the game. But I think it's worth giving it another try :)

Less talk, more action. We need to try, test. I'll try to play and get some statistics.

This game requires a pretty decent bankroll. I don't think there's any point in playing with $20 or even $50. But at least you can try something with virtual chips to understand the basics and try out basic strategies. I hope one day I'll be able to afford such a game too.

When the rules were first explained to me, I concluded that it was a game about 7, which either comes out on time or not :)
When I play, I bet quite primitively on the pass line and bet on 6 or 8. It's banal, but sometimes it gave me a good result.

I played some when I was a kid, what someone earlier in the thread called "street craps", with simplified rules, but I have never played the full game in a casino. I have watched friends play some on poker trips to Atlantic City and Vegas, usually losing the money they had just won at the poker tables, though once in Tunica I had a friend go on a crazy streak, winning $35,000 at craps. I used to avoid everything except poker, but I'm planning a trip to Vegas when the weather cools down and maybe I will give craps a try. Gonna read the advice here. Certainly looks fun when you see people playing.

according to" ART of Craps " the best odds on craps are found on the 'pass' and 'don't pass' line bets , which have a house edge of 1.41% ".

Eu zic sa nu încerci! Mai bine joci alte sloturi și ai o șansă mai mare!

Craps definitely looks confusing at first, but once you understand the difference between the Point and Come Points, it starts making much more sense. I think the biggest thing for beginners is not trying to learn every side bet at once.
I'd probably stick with Pass Line and Come bets initially and learn how the table flows before getting into Hardways, Hop Bets, and the other options. The examples here make the sequence much easier to follow. Looking forward to the next part on odds and betting strategies! 🎲👍
