Do you believe in "lucky dealers" or table superstitions?

Hey guys,
I know we all like to think we're 100% logical and driven by odds, but let’s be real for a second—how superstitious do you get at the tables?
I keep seeing players who instantly run away from a blackjack table the moment a new dealer sits down, just because they think that specific dealer brings bad luck. Others swear by tapping the table, or never changing their bet size during a good run.
Even if you know the RNG/math doesn't care about "luck", do you secretly have any weird habits or rituals when you play? Or are you strictly cold-blooded math all the time?
Curios to hear your weirdest habits!
 
I think that nothing you can do can change your luck, such as wearing certain clothes or some object that brings you luck, or playing with a particular dealer, I don't think that any of that can bring you luck.
 
i believe in bad dealers on the poker table . i lost 2 huge pots decades ago due to dealer error . one was in Binions Horseshoe at the old downtown Las Vegas location , where you wouldn't expect that kind of thing to happen .

Unlucky and incompetent are very different things though lol
 
well , to be accurate ,dealers are not 'unlucky' either . the players feel unlucky with certain dealers .

Well, superstition or not, I really had a "Lucky Dealer" for a while. I even remember his name, Goerge.
Every time I sit at his table, I win. So, whenever I went to that casino, I looked for him. But if I don't find him, I do my usual things anyway.
 
I don’t really believe in lucky dealers.
But I can see why people get attached to one after a few good hands.
Probably more about the feeling than anything else.
 
I don't believe in superstitions and consider various rituals or talismans to be sheer nonsense. As for any odd habits, it’s hard for me to name them. All my habits are very ordinary and commonplace.
 
I believe in good days and bad days. Everything else is just a matter of each individual player's personal quirks.
