We play our favourite games , having fun, trying to achieve goals, in the rhythm every player can play. But there is a time, a period in the year where you leave everything or almost everything for vacations, and of course the games. I think it is good, changing environment, relaxing refreshing ourselves!

It's always good to change your environment; you get a chance to think about completely different things
and not worry about your normal troubles; forget it all till it's time to get back to the grind. 😍

Anything in excess is not good for your body and lifestyle, be it card games or office desk work etc.
A human brain deserves a healthy break from all such things to reset and come back fresh and strong!
The quality of work output also improves after the break!

Yeah for sure refreshing your mind is always good especially when we talk about games where there is money involved. Just enjoy that time of the year and try to relax.

For me, games are entertainment, so I play much more during vacation than when I'm not on vacation.

100%. Taking a break and stepping away for a bit is crucial to stay sane. It's way easy to get burned out if you don't clear your head once in a while.

If I'm traveling, I don't play. Because I simply don't have time for poker. But if I'm spending my vacation at home, I play.

I agree with you.
I usually like to take 2 vacation trips a year. And on these trips (which last about 2 weeks each) I stop playing the games that I like. For me, rest is also part of life.

2-3 days of break is usually more than enough for me. If the vacation lasts longer, I play :)

Being retired, I am on permanent vacation, so there are very few times where I leave poker or the slots behind and if I do, probably max 3 days.

Vacation, in my opinion, is a time for gaming. I definitely play more during vacations.

Of course, it's better to relax productively: go to a gym, get a massage, visit the dentist or another doctor you've been putting off for a long time. You can also do something silly, like watch a movie or play a game.

Well, nowadays, even if you travel on vacation, don't tell me that you don't take your laptop or tablet with you, or at least your phone. And don't tell me that you'll find yourself somewhere with no internet, unless of course, your destination is some island in the middle of the Pacific.

But seriously, the topic has nothing to do with vacation.
It is recommended, and probably even necessary (Sometimes mandatory), to take breaks from whatever it is we're doing, including gambling.

I think gaming only causes problems for people who are addicted to games and gambling—people who don’t manage their betting amounts properly and are always at risk of losing a lot of money. A “gaming break” would be appropriate if you were really tired and gaming was getting in the way of your life. I was recently hospitalized and thought I wouldn’t be able to play, but I did play and even managed to win a little, so I took advantage of “my break” in the hospital and had fun! Good luck to you!:)(y)

That wasn't a break; it was just fuel for your addiction. Glad you didn't have a heart attack
Thinking you might miss a game 🤣

Yes, refresh yourself before you wreck yourself. You'll likely come back stronger than ever, and problem solving will improve!
