Sometimes you place a bet without fully understanding how it works, then somehow it wins lol. Has that ever happened to you, and what game was it?

Haha, as long as money comes up, you know you won something 😂 Have you ever figured out what game you were playing afterward?
 
Yes, that happened to me. When I started playing poker, I didn't fully understand the rules, but despite that, I managed to scoop up some pretty substantial pots a few times.

I have, last week. I placed a parlay bet on darts even though I didn't know the players. I mixed 10 legs by picking low odds, bet $1, and won around $100. 🤣

yes I did once, but it was a long time ago—I don't remember what game I was playing—and I won 240 USD.

I made a ' show ' wager on a horse I liked one time but it was the wrong race ! The mistake pick came in 2nd so I got some winnings back .

Same here, craps looks confusing with all those different bets lol. I’d need to learn the payouts before putting money on it.
 
Though I don't play slots, I once put a $20 in a machine to kill some time as I was waiting for a tournament to start. It had so many reals, colors, lights and different objects. I had no idea what I was going to do. I just pressed the red button and watched the reals spinning. When they stopped, it was obvious that I won something. It took me a quite a few seconds to realize that it was $500.
